Borehole drilling. In carrying out borehole drilling projects in Nigeria, I strongly advice every prospective client to assign a geologist with his borehole project. it is important for the client to also beware that we have different borehole types depending on your water need and affordability.

We have Direct shallow borehole and industrial(deepwell) borehole. Each one of these borehole types is designed to serve a particular purpose different from the other. In carrying out a drilling project, whether in the basement complex or sedimentary terrain, certain factors like underground water contaminants, depth of the fresh water aquifer, productivity of the well, septic contamination, mineralogical composition of the project site, salinity and so on, should be taken into consideration. [b]A Geo-physical survey is highly recommended.
Geo-physical survey is a scientific method of acquiring geological and hydro-geological features of the earth through some standard recommendations and adopted applications. The acquisition data helps both the client and the geologist to make a better judgement.

Direct shallow borehole: This borehole type is the most common within lagos and its environs. It is the least expensive of all borehole types, the reason why it is called shallow borehole is because the borehole is not drilled to a far depth, it has active production sustainance and it is economically very affordable. In some challenging environments like victoria island, lekki, ikoyi, ajah, lagos island, satellite town, sango-tedo, etc. There is the possibility of saline contamination,sewage infiltration, organics, hydrogen sulphide(H2S) and run-off incursion in the shallow bed. It is therefore advised that water treatment plant be installed for safety, human health and environmental pressure

Industrial or deep borehole: This borehole type is the most reliable in terms of production capacity and resistance to contaminants infiltration. The aquifer is confined and deep depth located. This well production possess industrial capacity, the confine nature of the aquifer is safe from all quality interference . It is the most reliable of all the borehole types and is specially designed for bottle or pure water processing factories, large residence, hotels and high rise buildings, production factories, community water schemes,etc. The deep borehole is the most expensive of all the borehole types, because of the depth and the nature of materials involved in the drilling operations.

I was living in a 2 bedroom house in Lagos last year due to some reasons (personal) i relocated but before relocating i told my landlord that my former colleague will occupy the place while i am away so she can pay me the remaining rent of 1year and 6months the landlord said he is not accepting third party that he will prefer to refund my money. Since he is an elderly man and a barrister i accepted. When i wanted to leave the house he called me for a meeting and told me he will pay me #600,000 just because i don’t want any issue or problem i accepted the offer of #600000 even thou that was not what i expected. He promised to pay me last year may (2016) and i did not collect any writing agreement from him which i later regretted. Initially when i moved in to the house he gave me an agreement booklet but i countered some of the info on the agreement booklet and returned to him for update and we never discussed on it again since everything occurred almost at the peak of exiting the house. Last year December 2016 he paid me #200000 after a series of begging via text and promised to pay me the balance before the end of the year 2016 but till date he still owes me #400000. Someone else has occupied the place based on the info i got from people living around the place. Please if i have to open up a case do you think i can win since all i have as evidence is watzapp conversation (thou that is just the least since i don’t even have any money to pay lawyer now). Since he is a barrister with Lagos state do you think it will be better if i report him to his office? I have been wondering why he does not want to pay because he has children schooling abroad and he has the money. Please i just need your sincere opinion.
