CrimeRe: Two Nigerians Arrested In Uganda For Drug Trafficking, Fraud by Athundare: 7:17pm On May 06
I feel like it's getting to the point we properly scrutinize all going abroad and keep tabs on them. Or there should be a system that deals with and make examples of those Nigerians arrested abroad for drugs, 'cod there's no blessed day Nigerians are not arrested in one country or the other for drugs.
Imagine finding out these a city called Bengaluru because of this. Now Uganda?
They just keep on spoiling our already shitty image

This clown no go keep quiet.

Person way them Dey use taxpayers support. With so much damage to his country.

Western media Dey hide images. Go Ukraine.
And you have been there?
All of you that would ignore the problems in your own country and be proving experts on how other countries can manage theirs
Foreign AffairsRe: Zelenskyy Offers Expertise On Keeping Waterways Open Amid Middle East Conflict by Athundare: 7:00pm On Apr 04
You people just let sentimentality and hate cloud your judgement. The US is slowly leaving him to fight his war; just so you know, DJT likes Putin so much, he's slowly withdrawing US support. EU cannot risk a confrontation with Russia and so their support is limited, at least until they build up themselves.
Zelensky is playing the cards he has now. His people are effectively fighting off Shahed drones. They've freed their waterways. But that is not enough. They need money. They need support. The Gulf states have money that might help Ukraine. If the cost of gaining their support is to sell them interceptor drones, teach them how they freed their waterways, why not?
CelebritiesRe: Lady Sues Peller, Demands N395m For Filming Her Without Consent by Athundare: 11:02am On Mar 17
kayevans:
If you are in public and in a publicly accessible area, you cannot claim right to privacy. There is no expectation of privacy in public. You can only claim that if you are in a private area or space you own. Even at that, if I'm recording you from a publicly accessible area in your private space, you still can't claim privacy. The most you can do is close your blinds. In the US it's called the First Ammendment rights.
If you don't want to be recorded, remain in your private area... personal car, house, office and try not to be seen. You cannot be in the taxi, bus, public space etc and say recording you is an intrusion of your privacy...wrong.
That is why celebrities are haunted by cameras even in their intimate moments, because they can actually not do anything about it.
It is only where the action related to the recording is actually blocking your private space (for example bring the device very close to your face) that you may have a claim, and not the recording itself.
I believe there's a thing about sharing people's videos without their consent. Also, if you had seen that video, you'd realize that he insulted her. Badly. Even if she loses the case for sharing without her consent, there's also the emotional trauma and reputational damage she can claim resulting from that video. I honestly have been expecting her to come out to sue him way earlier.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Administration Wants To Buy Ukrainian Weapons To Fight Iran - Newsweek by Athundare: 12:06pm On Mar 06
Sentimentality is clouding most of you guys' judgement. It's logic. Ukraine needed to defend against the barrage of missiles and Shahed drones. They received low support to use the Patriot system and they found out it was too expensive to defend against the cheaply made shahed drones.
If necessity is the mother of invention, war is the father. They began creating cheap anti drone systems and they got good at it.
The US is designed to fight conventional warfare and have conventional weapons and conventional defense systems, not the type of drones Iran is . Ukraine on the other hand, has developed unconventional systems and are good at it. It's only normal to want to buy the better weapons
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Navy Inaugurates First Marines To Boost Maritime, Land Security by Athundare: 1:15pm On Feb 28
Richtaiwo:
Something is still not quite adding up.

So, the navy has the SBS, a special force. Then there are the Marines, another special force. On top of that, there is yet another unit actually called Special Force. And just when you think the catalogue of exclusivity is complete, along comes deep blue sea, also within the navy, and also requiring special training.

At this point, one is tempted to pause and ask a very innocent question. What exactly is the job description of the rest of the navy personnel who do not belong to any of these elite clubs?
Because, ideally, the navy itself is a fighting force and should naturally embody the capabilities these units represent.

So if not… then what exactly are the others being trained for? To guard the canteen while the special people go to war?
You know there's is difference between amphibious troops and conventional sailors. It's stated there that they are trained in land and jungle warfare. If we follow your logic, then we should ask what the rest of the UK Navy is doing since the have both Royal Marines and Special Boat Service. The question we should be asking is if they would be a practical addition to solve the general defense and insecurity problems we have

The problem we have in this part of the world is that, injustice and partiality have clouded our strength thinking.
The same thing was said by Dona the stinking pig to the people of Iran but we didn't see it as bad...... Now Ayat is saying same to Donas people amd we are taking sides again. We may need to just wake up
That's what happens when people don't think for themselves and idiotically consume what they are given. Not calling anybody a pig though
Foreign AffairsRe: Iranian Leader Sends Message To Americans As Millions Protest In Minneapolis by Athundare: 2:55pm On Jan 25
Y'all aren't getting the point. It's plain mockery, throwing back the exact words Trump posted when Iranians in protest were killed.
You all need to see that the Supreme Leader and the King of the United States aren't so different.
What's funny is you guys that cry louder than the citizens of those countries when you are complicit in the downfall and just managing in your own country.
EducationRe: I Struggled With Anatomy Until I Cracked This Code by Athundare: 1:37pm On Dec 02, 2025
MedAnon:
For a long time, Anatomy felt like a personal attack.

No matter how much I read, the diagrams refused to stick.
I would memorize it today… and forget everything tomorrow.
My seniors kept saying “Anatomy is broad,” but nobody told me what to actually do to survive it without losing my mind.

Then one day, something changed.

I didn’t become smarter.
I didn’t suddenly start reading 12 hours a day.
I simply cracked one code that flipped everything for me:

I stopped reading Anatomy like a textbook… and started reading it like a STORY with CHARACTERS, EVENTS, and CONSEQUENCES.

And that was the beginning of my success.

Let me explain.

1. I Stopped Studying Structures… and Started Studying Their “Personalities”

Every structure has a “personality.”

The ulnar nerve is “the jealous one”... it hides behind the medial epicondyle and gets angry when you hit it.

The spleen is “the fragile prince” protected under ribs because one small injury and it bleeds out.

The femoral triangle is “the VIP lounge” only the most important vessels stay there.

Once I started giving structures identities, I stopped forgetting them.
Because the brain remembers characters better than labels.

2. I Started Asking ONE Question That Changed Everything:

“If this structure disappears, what will go wrong?”

The moment you can answer that for any nerve, vessel, or muscle..
Anatomy becomes common sense, not memorization.

Median nerve is cut >> can’t oppose thumb >> object slips from your hand>
> OK sign becomes abnormal.

Now tell me, how can you forget something you understand?

3. I Converted Diagrams Into 10-Second Mental Images

Not drawing…
Not copying…
Not colouring…

Just pausing for 10 seconds after reading to build a simple mental image.

And here’s the trick:
The image doesn’t have to be perfect.
It only needs to be distinct.

My drawing of the Circle of Willis looked like a fried egg.. but I never forgot it again.

4. I Didn’t Practice Questions… I Practiced PREDICTING Them

Before opening any MCQ, I would ask myself:

“If I were the examiner, what would I test from this topic?”

Do you know the crazy part?
The actual questions were always 60–70% similar.
Because Anatomy examiners are predictable:

They love nerve injuries

They love anatomical relations

They love clinical correlations

Once I mastered predicting questions, Anatomy stopped surprising me.

5. I Found Out That Anatomy Has “Trigger Words”

Words that examiners use to indirectly point at one structure.

“Winging of scapula” >>Serratus anterior
“Waiter’s tip” >> Erb palsy
“Foot drop” >> Common fibular nerve
“Claw hand” >> Ulnar nerve

I memorized the trigger words, not the whole topic.
And whenever I saw them in exam options, my brain clicked instantly.

6. I Realized Anatomy Is Not Hard… It’s Just Linked Together

You cannot study the brachial plexus today
and the upper limb tomorrow
and expect to remember anything.

Everything is connected.
Once I started linking concepts like:

nerve >>muscle >> action >> clinical defect

bone >> relation >> structure injured

artery >> branches >> area supplied

…everything stopped scattering in my head.

7. The Final Code I Cracked:

Anatomy rewards understanding, not hustling.

Once I stopped reading blindly and started reading strategically,
my grades changed dramatically and Anatomy became one of my easiest courses.
Why does it sound like it's AI generated? If you're using AI to tell us how you read, how sure are we you actually read?

Nice tips though
Foreign AffairsRe: "We Are Very Much On Track"- Trump Speaks Positive About Call With Zelensky by Athundare: 7:36pm On Mar 19, 2025
voortrekker966:
The war will end soon. Putin is tired and heavily depleted of weapons and men. Trump is his saving grace. He will back out making it look like he ended the war because of Trump's diplomacy.

Meanwhile, Trump knows this and is doing all he can to cash out on the Ukrainian side.
Is he? Putin is manipulating all. He'd be the one to win the most in all these

Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Kicks Zelensky Out Of The White House After Heated Argument (Video) by Athundare: 2:40am On Mar 01, 2025
I look at people condemning Zelensky and shake my head. Are you guys suggesting that he just folds his hands and let Putin take away everything?
Zelensky is only asking that US would promise them security guarantees as Russia has proven to be good at breaking their word. I don't see what you guys say he did wrong there. Or are you saying he's a fool for trying to protect his people? That he should hand over half Ukraine's minerals to US and land to Russia?

And truly, Zelensky was asked to leave later on. So he was technically kicked out
