This has got me thinking for a while,why is it that the agency has so much power over the artist?i mean he/she is the one working,cant he or she say am not doing this?why is it that the agency has to be in the middle of their personal lives?answers needed guys.

Just like hilda said, idols have it worse. Their agencies train them for years before they debut, so they're expected to like be grateful and return the favour by over-working themselves to death to earn money and pay back their dues.

Actors still have a bit of freedom sha especially those big name actors. But sometimes agencies cast their popular actors in some silly web dramas to promote another one.
Like maybe an idol group wants to debut, they'll now cast a rising popular star with the idol group in a web drama to create buzz for the idol group.

Basically, your agency makes or breaks you. Watch Producers (Cindy story) to understand.

I just hope she gets married, because she said in an interview that she won't act with Ji Sung again till she gets married. And when I heard she broke up with her bf of 9years earlier this year, I was like no hope for my OTP again.
But now, hope has returned.

Oh yes..its an unforgettable drama and I think fans are more awed by how well it turned out which is a rarity in drama land.

Honestly, what's there not to like? The plot, the chemistry, Ji Chang Wook, their chemistry, the OST, Hacker Ahjumma, girl Healer.... You've just gotta love the drama. Though some people don't think the drama is all that.



Funny note: Yong Shin's wheel chair mum and her husband in Healer are husband and wife in another drama I'm watching now, My Daughter Geum Sa Wol. Only here, the feeling is mutual.

And her husband's arch enemy in the drama acted as her husband in Unkind Women.

lol.yeah,this year is healer's year on db.
Actually,healer premiered on DEC 8,2014 and ended on Jan or Feb of this Yr,so it's considered a 2015 drama.

can't wait for the final results and the editors'pick(jb and gf).

I mean, KBS already awarded it at their 2014 drama awards (then, lots of people were like the drama hasn't even been up to 4 weeks, how could it win 3 awards), so they won't consider it this year.
Just like What Happens to my Family (started last year and won 8 awards including Daesang) but db added it to their weekend category this year, and I'm pretty sure it's sweeping votes there.

Lol @ Heirs being the most overrated drama it totally deserved the award.

This year's own will probably be Producers or Yong Pal.

lol..... omo,Healer is sweeping the votes in many categories right now. I was torn between healer and I remember but voted healer anyway,lol.

They suppose to rename this year "healer year" on dramabeans.
Funny enough, the network KBS considers its a 2014 drama.

Others are:
2) Fated to Love You- the press conference scene after Mi Young learnt Gun was a noble idiot because of his disease. And she burst in on the press con and kissed the living daylight out of him.

3) BOF- when Jun Pyo rescued Jan Di from the bullies after finding out she didn't really cheat on him. He carried her dirty clothes and all, while apologising profusely. ....then he took her to his house to tend her wounds and they started arguing again. I so much loved their arguments.

4) Secret Garden- the party scene where Ra Im wore that short black dress and they discussed their little mermaid stuff before kissing, while everybody was just looking like say na only them dey the party.
P.S that is still the most beautiful Ha Ji Won I've ever seen. She looked so breathtaking in that gown!

The most romantic scenes I can remember...

1) Secret- Jo Min Hyuk (Ji Sung) and Kang Yoo Jung (Hwang Jung Eum) their first night together.
In the drama she had this really disgusting scar on her shoulder (gotten from her time in prison).

Now, before this scene episodes ago, her ex bf (that she went to prison for ) he was kissing her and when he saw the scar he was immediately repulsed.

Back to the romantic scene, as Min Hyuk was unbuttoning her blouse, Yoo Jung turned her face away, ashamed of the scar, but that sweet Min Hyuk of a guy not only placed his hands on the scar, he kissed it! She cried (and I cried too ' cos it was really touching )
Plus the OST being played in the background added more feels to the scene.

I'm fine with many Kdrama clichés, but one thing I really don't like is when they speak English.
I feel like entering under a table anytime they do that.

One thing that amuses me everytime though is when they'd remove the battery of their phone rather than just putting it off.

1.The fact that they always say "I like you" instead of "I love you" and I was like......are they not the same?she said nope,that they aren't the same to her.I kinda agree with her sha,I normally hear I like you in dramas more than I love you.

This usually happens when the guy is confessing. He'd rather say like. Love comes much later, or not.

2.The fact that the camera always revolves while showing a kiss scene.omo,I agree with her on this one o.it annoys the heck out of me.if you wanna show us a kiss scene,then keep the damn camera steady,so we can watch it.

Always happens, especially if it's the dead fish type. The kiss annoys me already, and they're still revolving.

3.piggy back ride:yeah,I get that this is cute and romantic but enough already.

4.must they get drunk in all their dramas.

Fastest means of transportation, especially during emergencies.

And yes, they love to drink.

6.The fact that they talk when shoving foods in their mouths.Do Koreans lack table manners,or is it just in dramas?
