The over-fixation on endorsements by governors is becoming amusing and pathetic at the same time. Sanwo-olu endorsed Tinubu in 2023 but Tinubu lost Lagos even though Sanwo-olu won his own re-election comfortably. Same was the case by Umahi and Hope Uzodinma in Ebonyi and Imo. Tinubu also lost Cross Rivers, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Kebbi, Yobe, etc that had APC governors whom all endorsed him. Nigerian electorates are becoming more sophisticated to know the difference between party and candidates.

In 2023, APC had 21 states but Tinubu only won 12 states. Only 6 out of those 12 were APC-governed states. Data is stubborn.

Please stop educating illiterates and prostitutians (uhm, I mean politicians). They just never learn.
