so the latest gist in gossip blogs, newspaper et al, is that Toni payne is back with baba 9ice,

Now, im not gonna hate because i am a very huge fan of them and i basically knew 9ice through Toni payne

via facebook hype of Gongo Aso, I love her hustle, very creative, independent and innovative, she inspires me-work wise

to go harder, but damn! what happened to integrity? so we all know or some of us know all it all happened, 9ice releasing a song, announcing his

seperation from TP, rumour bongers assuming it was TP and RUGGEDMAN, both TP and ruggedman begging 9ice to clear the air, ruggedman recording

his own diss track, twitter fight betwwen TP and 9ice, 9ice stating to the public that they aint no coming back for TP and him, but he wants three

kids, TP also agreed that they aint no coming back et al, few months ago news broke that abuja lady had twice for 9ice, but they later said it was

girl, TP took to twitter cursing the other lady and telling her followers that they can actually see for themselves who was cheating b/w both of

them, couple of weeks ago, TP started promoting 9ice album on twitter and now news have it that they are back!

my question is why would you accept to be with a man who refused to clear the air about some alleged affair with his friend?

why would you want to be with him when you told city newspaper that he was cheating while both of you were still married(before seperating)?

why would you go back to man who didn't wait to   divorce you before  impregnanting another woman,

I am not saying TP should not accept 9ice back, i am more than happy for them, but if i were in TP's shoes and i still love the man in Question

I would request for a simple media report stating we are back as a couple, since it was easy for 9ice to go to the media to announce their seperation

it shouldn't be difficult to announce their reunion as well, instead of just jumping back and claiming all is well, then gbam!! you take to social network

to start prompting him again, like seriously, are you that cheap and easy to get, like someone can just toll with your emotions and zoom right back

and you gladly accept em back, it obvious that 9ice is using TP as a business venture, as he was stated in his song-once bitten twice shy, even though

he said he wasn't referring to her. my own opinion is that there is more drama to come, coz they say a man with 2 women has 2 minds, we shall see

how TP is going to handle the fact that her dear husband 9ice would have to commute all the time to Abuja to go see the lady plus her baby and in the

process bang her as well, i hope they have a plan and have prayed to GOD for directions, from myself and other true fans i wish them peace in their marriage and more years together,

I just thought i had create this thread so that people could share their experiences with me and other fellow nursing student on nairaland.
i started my nursing program in 2010 and i'm stressed already! i am one person that don't believe that others treat people unfairly because of their skin colour, as it is i am beginning to feel that way. some of my professors are horrible, not approachable, give your low grade and when u question them they come up with some weird reason. oh well, i just thought i had put this up and if others could share their experiences with me, and also RN are welcome to share ways in which they strived above all. and oh, i school in canada, ontario to be precise.

It's a fairly straightforward process and I'd advice you to apply inland. I know alot of people advice for outland because of the appeal process option but frankly, I think your best shot is inland especially for Africans. Trust me, you do not want to go thru the appeal process; it's draining and time-consuming. Your spouse may not be able to come visit till the issue is resolved, etc. And unless your fiance does not mind going to Accra for an interview (if they ask him to come down), I would not worry too much about an appeal, if you have a strong application. Most times, inland applications are only denied after they have conducted an interview, done some extensive research about your relationship or there are some contradictions in your application.

As you have mentioned, include a work permit application in the inland sponsorship application. This means you have to pay $550 (for the sponsorship and $150 for the WP).  I understand he has a 5mth left on his visitors stay; so you have approx 5mths to put in the application. Make sure he is always in status otherwise the application may become complicated. So, if you cannot go thru with your wedding and application within 5mths, you have to apply for a visitors visa extension. There's no guarantee he will get it.

Note that the WP included in the sponsorship application only helps to get him an implied status. You may not hear anything from CIC for almost 6-7mths from when you put in the application. This means he cannot work for at least a yr (5mths + 7mths). Make sure you folks are aware about the implications. When the 1st stage is approved (approval in principle), he may be granted the WP. The PR usually comes within a month or thereabouts after the 1st stage approval, depending on the Immigration office.

Just a few things.
- Dont call your wedding a "mini-marriage" anywhere (even online) as you have done here, no matter your intentions.
- Regardless of where you put in your application (inland or outland), you need evidence of your relationship, prior to your marriage.
- I hope you are familiar with other conditions for sponsorship and you meet the criteria. If not, make sure you familiarize yourself so that you do not waste your resources.

let me go straight to the point without boring u guys. my boo came to canada about a month ago on a visiting visa (6months)

we have decided to do a "mini marriage" here in canada so that i can sponsor him. i have gone through the immigration site and i

noticed that they have the INLAND AND OUTLAND APPLICATION FOR SPOUSE. i would like the inland application because he can apply

for a open work permit as well, but my fear is if the application is rejected there's no appeal for it and it takes longer!. on the other hand, I was wondering

if i could apply for the OUTLAND APPLICATION while he remains here with me in canada even though his visa will expire in 5months.
