Infinix mobile has come a long way when it
comes to making affordable smartphones by
Africans. Although it is not a high-end Android
device like Samsung or Huawei, Infinix mobile
smartphone will handle your daily task
smoothly.

When Transsion holdings stormed the African
mobile phones markets in 2007 with Tecno
mobile they quickly gained popularity because
they offered solutions to the problem that we
faced.

Across the African continent, most people
were dual sim carriers and Tecno quickly
capitalized on that when producing their first
phones.

After gaining massive popularity and without
any major competition on the African
Transsion holdings quickly introduced Infinix
mobile in the year 2013. In order to expand
their reach across the continent. Infinix mobile
has some of the most popular and widely used
Android devices in Africa.

These include Infinix Hot 6 Pro , Infinix Note 5
Stylus , Infinix Smart 2 Pro , and most recently
the Infinix S4 , Infinix Hot 7 Pro , Infinix Smart 3
Plus , and the Infinix Note 6. In this article, we
will categorize and look at how impressive
Infinix mobile devices are built.

Popularity Of This Brand
Infinix mobile is arguably one of the biggest
mobile brand names in Africa. This is simply
because the android smartphones built by
them are cheap and affordable.

Another major thing that keeps that has
helped them become a big brand name in
Africa is because of the battery power. The
average Infinix mobile device normally packs a
2500mAh battery and above.

Consistency has been key to the brand’s
popularity. As they have been bringing out low
budget devices every now and then. In Nigeria
Infinix mobile and Tecno mobile share more
than 50% capital of the smartphones market.
As well as in Kenya and Ghana.

All this has been possible because their
phones are targeted at Africans. In Asia where
they come from they hardly command any
traffic. The high level of competition that
exists between Samsung, Huawei, and the
fast-growing Xiaomi makes it difficult.

According to reliable sources, Infinix has never
sold a single unit of its smartphone in China.
This is because of the existing competitions
and better quality available in the Chinese
market.

DESIGN AND AESTHETICS
When it comes to designs the mobile brand
fared pretty well although they are very slow
in keeping up with the standards that are
maintained by top android manufactures in the
world.

We can generally relate that this happens
because the phones are mostly a low budget
smartphone with a few mid-range devices.
Giving in to their latest designs especially with
the infinix S4 because I have a personal user
experience I can see that they are trying to
keep up with the standard.

Quick Pick On Infinix Hot S4

The Hot S4 does not have a big bezel or chin
making its screen to body ratio very high and
also allows you to watch videos in full-screen
resolutions which is one promising
improvement compare to Infinix Hot S3 .
The waterdrop notch houses a 32MP selfie
camera on the front of the device, high-end
selfie pictures are guaranteed. And more to it
the selfie camera is empowered with some
Emoji to make your photography a fun
experience.

On the other hand, looking at the Infinix Note
6 recently released. You will notice that it
doesn’t pack many attributes when compared
to the Infinix S4 but it sells for a higher price.
The design is not pleasing in the eyes, the
only outstanding feature to me is the AMOLED
screen of the device. Majority of their mobile
devices were been shipped with IPS LCD
capacitive touch screens. But, with this, it is a
sign of improvement which is nice.
They normally have plastic or metal frames.
Until recently we’ve seen them adopt the
glastic back covers for their devices thereby
making them more beautiful and more
attractive.

Infinix mobile has built a reputation for
creating a well-tailored brand of android
smartphones that suits the African continent.
Be it camera, processors, quality, durability
and a user-friendly (XOS) interface for any of
their mobile smartphones that will handle your
daily task perfectly.

Problems Faced By This
Brand

Infinix mobile devices are not generally
without any problems. But wait, is there any
brand of Android smartphone in the world that
doesn’t have its own fair share of the
problem. From bloatware, occasional lag, and
software problems?
Sometimes Infinix mobile users complain
about the heaviness of their device, slow
charging (giving the nature of electricity
problems across the continent they need to
improve this aspect).

Overheating problems, lack of software
updates, Laging or hanging when it comes to
dealing with heavy apps or games that
requires a high level of GPU. To me, all this
boils down to the price. But I still believe that
the brand can improve all these things to the
nearest minimum.

The Future Of The Brand

What does the future hold for Infinix mobile in
Africa?

The Slogan from this prestigious brand is

The future is now

The big Android brands are now taking a new
look at the African market. This is because
they have seen the enormous rewards that
brands like Infinix mobile and Tecno mobile
have reaped over time.
But, with these big brands coming into Africa.
This means Infinix mobile must quickly move
at the same pace or even faster than these
brands. As they have a 5th sense of the
African Smartphone market.

Samsung introduced its A-series line in
Nigeria. And Android users have opted for the
devices because of its features and giving its
low price. For example, the Samsung Galaxy
A20 and the Infinix S4 are priced within the
same range. But The Features are not the
same. Some people will go for the Samsung
Galaxy A20 because of its screen powers.

Another notable one is the launch of the
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 in Lagos, Nigeria. The
phone’s gorilla glass screen feature relates
well if you look at how we handle our devices
daily.

Currently, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is one of
the sorts after phone globally. Xiaomi is also
expected to launch the much talked about
Redmi Mi 9t / Redmi K20 in Lagos, Nigeria
soon. As well as the Redmi 7a.

Another notable problem is the ever-growing
presence of Huawei across the continent. With
the introduction of budget and mid-range
devices. These devices offer high quality and
good user interface they are slowly making a
name across the continent.

The mobile brand must look at these
competitions with both eyes widely open. As
they could get them out of business on the
African continent.

More Consideration about This Brand’s
Smartphones

But Have you ever wonder if you should
consider buying the smartphones released by
this brand or feel like you want to know more
about the smartphones released by this
smartphone. Come Back Some Other Time,
There will be an article one that.

The FaceApp recently went viral because of its ability to predict highly realistic transformation of faces in photographs. It can either make you look younger or older or even change your gender. It’s all fun to use especially when you can change people’s face and see what they would look like if they were younger or older. One thing the app has shown us is the fact that people don’t really care about their privacy online. Using the FaceApp simply means you are biting more than you can chew. Even our favorite celebrities and world leaders have undergone some sort of facial transformation using the app.

It seems the Umi X will be the game changer. They've been shaking tables with the A series, the Umi X will likely break the Table
Meanwhile an unknown person called me from Adamawa yesterday and was inquiring about Umidigi A5 pro I was perplexed . Umidigi is going viral now.
The person said he ordered for A5 pro during the pre sale but somebody had access to his AE account and canceled the order. He said he wants to buy Any available one for 45k… ..
I succinctly told him mine isn't for sale

I've bought quite a number of umidigi a3 and a3 pro devices for people.. Using the a3 i bought with small money i was different from other people using tecno and infinix..

Lexusgs430:
Jumia has signed a watertight contract with Umidigi, for wholesale supplies.......

believe me if you setup retail outlets across the country.. you will drive more command than jumia.. And also create centers for repairs and selling parts

After careful observation across various social media handles of umi.. I discovered Nigerians are the highest patronizers of their devices.. But the brand don't have a sound marketing and sales team.. If they can get it right they can put tecno and infinix out of business in Nigeria

seanwilliam:
if u want best of the best, go for samsung a10 at 38.5k, use the change to buy covercase and a week sub

michealdeco:
