Description:
We are a high end fashion house based in Lekki Phase 1 seeking to hire an experienced assistant accountant who is keen to progress and learn new skills. This broad role covers everything from bank reconciliations, managing online customer credit card / Paypal payments, through to assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts pack, responsibility for weekly sales reporting and ad hoc projects as required by the Financial Controller. This role would suit a studier Graduate Degree (BSc) or equivalent. with a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric industry, who is seeking a very broad role to complement their studies, or a more experienced finance professional 5-6 years’ experience who is keen to work within a rapidly changing and high growth environment. A strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, great MS Excel skills (including the use of pivot tables and Lookups) and a keen eye for detail are required to be successful in this role. Previous exposure to working in a dot.com environment is not required but would be an advantage.

So It is important that you are up-to-date with the latest fashion trends. Moreover, you must be able to accurately render sketches and drawings of garments, footwear, accessories and other fashion apparels based on the creative and artistic concept of the fashion designer. You must have some formal training in graphic design, associate's or a bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field. You must also have strong technical design skills, since you usually need to use computer software programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as CAD programs. As with any artistic job, being highly creative is very important when designing apparel. However, you must also be able to successfully convey a message that appeals to consumers and makes them want the product. The field thus requires you to combine good storytelling techniques with business and marketing skills.



Job Description
• Create designs for garments, shoes, fashion accessories, and other apparels with the use of imaging software programs like Photoshop and Illustrator
• Bring the vision of the fashion designers to life through the illustration of the actual design plan
• Sketch drawings using various mediums including paint, charcoals, colored pencils, and computer software programs
• Produce drawings and layouts that will be used in catalogs, magazines, brochures, flyers, commercials and other advertising media
• Communicate fashion ideas through sketches, layouts, drafts and drawings
