Ok i don't even know how to start right now, I am just so infuriated! Here is how the story goes. Some of my friends who got admitted to FUTMINNA School of Entrepreneurship and Management Technology(SEMT) as DE students into 200lv are only just getting to know that the entire SEMT have been suspended by NUC. Now SEMT comprises of about three departments which are;
1) Project Management Technology(PMT)
2) Transport Management technology and
3) Entrepreneurship and Business study(EBS)

The third department EBS is where majority of the problem lies, Now that department is the sole purely art department in the school of technology and it has been so for many years. The rest of the departments that admitted DE students are now transferring their students to various science related department like Quantity Surveying, Building department and the likes. But where will the EBS DE students go to? Their WAEC result from the onset have already disqualify them from any of the other science related course. Now this people have been admitted since last year December, Given matric numbers and some were even admitted recently this year despite the NUC directives! They have paid school fees, Paid house rent/Hostel fee, Been feeding themselves all this while, gotten matric numbers, made friends and even participated in all the lectures, tests, quizzes and what have you only to get the news that they aren't legitimate students!

They even went through the stress of tabling their issue with the new VC and he said they is no problem at all. But their HOD, their dean, registra all have something different to say. And only recently an Official letter was just received after much stress and time/money wasted. It was a letter of Withdrawer! And they were asked to consent. As he sign the letter tears stream down his eyes, This isn't Expulsion, this isn't suspension, or deferment, or resuscitation. No it's not, They have done absolutely nothing wrong! It was purely the school faults for admitting them in the first place, and the management(Including the HOD and Dean) faults for the lack of proper information. And the school management are now suggesting refund of school fees tomorrow after all the time wasted?!

Now i want to help my Friend and those affected sue the entire school management and claim damages but don't know how to go about it. Please;
