But they usually send an email to some after their interview for proof of job search, I’m wondering why they didn’t send you an email, or did you by chance miss the email? Maybe in your spam box?

jakjohnny:
Me too, I didn't see anything like that, until ChatGPT said it was on their sorting list on their portal.

You will be asked to make/submit a fresh passport. You can buy yourself some time and start that processing now.
thanks

Good evening everyone, has anyone submitted a passport with a validity that is less than 1 year (say 10 or 11 months remaining ), was the visa period shortened? Or they still gave the full 1 year anyway ?

Good morning. Is the FSLC that important in this process? What about those who do not have it? Would the WASSCE result suffice?
Apparently it’s important.. try and get it

I used only Primary School testimonial and I was able to submit my application. FSLC or testimonial should work.
Great! Are you in the preliminary review stage now? When did you join the waiting list ?

Good evening everyone.

please i have three questions

1. has anyone applied for this without Primary school result. if yes, please how did it go
2. for birth certificate, how did you handle number 1 and 2 for those who didnt have NPC certificate at birth
3. what stage are they currently. as at two weeks ago, i heard they were in Nov 8.
1. Try taking your testimonial or any proof you have (e.g a report card) to the ministry of education in your state for a pry sch attestation letter or statement of result if your school doesn’t exist anymore or ask your school to get one from the govt if they still exist

2. Not sure what you’re asking
3. November 9 2025 applicants entered the preliminary stage on September 29 2026

The first school leaving certificate is from the government and it’s different from primary school testimonial (not sure if only testimonial works, if you still have time, don’t risk it.. get the FSLC)

I don’t know if an attestation letter works in place of a FSLC, ideally it should but I can’t confirm that since I don’t know if anyone has tried that

First and second week?
I'm in the second week and I haven't gotten any response
I don’t think they follow the visa grant in a chronological order (based on interview date)

I believe everyone’s case is different, some might need more verification requiring more time while others might have a more straightforward or easier to verify documentation, hence why two people who interviewed same day might receive a visa approval on different days

On that note, everyone should be on the lookout for an update next week.. and please update us when you get a decision

Had my Interview on the 9th of June. Got an email yesterday that I should check my portal. Logged into my portal and saw a message that a decision has been made. Tracked my DHL package, it has not been sent out yet.

No other link or message again.

How do I proceed from here?

Who has experienced this before?

Hello guys. Does anyone have an update on the preliminary interview invites?
I just noticed that my wait time has gone back up from 2 - 8 weeks to 2 - 6 months.
I submitted October 23rd. Did anyone notice anything similar?
From discussions here, it seems they are already calling October people. I am wondering why the time may have increased
Have you been asked to submit?

Nobody should create any stupid group again that takes people away from nairaland.. these threads help many people even in the future!! Don’t selfishly hoard people to a WhatsApp group when information here can be used by future new applicants because even you creating a group benefited from info here on nairaland!

Please has anyone successfully used their statement of result certificate in place of their university certificate? There’s been some delay in getting mine and I’m wondering if the statement of result certificate will be a good alternative as it still shows I graduated

Hello everyone, kindly advise

Please if you used the sponsorship letter for your proof of fund, did your sponsor send the hard copy to Nigeria or he can just scan and send a soft copy ?

Can I use the soft copy and print it out or it must be the exact hard copy my sponsor received in Germany?
