Are they suing or trying to cash out? It doesn't seem to as though the jugde asked the church to pay a 100 million in damages.

Drop the court idea before you get scammed twice especially since its a private account you're being asked to pay the money into. Sounds somehow.

Get the cops to apprehend the guy. That way you're sure of spending less and making the guy pay back all expenses made.

This is how I managed to recover my money from a scammer, I went to a police station in Abuja, reported the incident and the ipo requested for 5000 for a court order and police report and a printed copy of my statement of account I gave her all those documents, it took her like a week and she got the court order, she took it to the bank and the scammer account was place on debit. That was how the guy was apprehended in portharcut while I am in Abuja. Last last I recover my money 230000 k, but I appreciated the police at the end of it all. So just report to Police and give them little change to handle all the process for you. Like I mentioned in my post I don't know whether it because of abuja police officer are more proactive.

Hello. I just need your sincere take here. I paid money into the account of an individual who posted as genuine for a deal, only to discover that the guy is a scammer.
In a bid to try and recover my money, I was told to get a court order. On approaching the court, I was told to get a printout of my bank's statement and a passport

But what baffled me is that the court wants an upfron paymentt of 10%. I feel that is too much. Please does anyone know how much is officially charged? Just to be sure that someone is not taking advantage of me again. I am supposed to make the payment into a private account.
My other worry is what if I don't recover all the money even after making 10% upfront payment.

The other option I have is to track the guy, although I am still going to sponsor the process but at least I can put all the expenses on the guy when he is apprehended.
