Edit: This is not a wish that Maiduguri falls to BH. But we have analysed that the NA cannot withstand a sustained BH onslaught on Maiduguri.

Remember it was last Sunday that BH attacked Maiduguri at first. No effort was made by the Nigeria Army to do a counter attack on BH forces to dislodge them from surrounding villages.

So it is obvious BH would return more prepared. Unless Chadian air support comes in Maiduguri is likely to fall.

My point is that until the rot in our armed forces are exposed, Chad etc may help us clear Boko Haram this time but next time it may be Chad attacking us. Who will help us if that happens?

The PDP Kaduna campaign team got so desperate to the extent that they couldn't mobilize average Kaduna people to go to the rally point today.


There were free buses to transport people but no passengers willing.


They had to start promising 10k to people and begging them to wear the branded GEJ shirts and caps b4 entering, ironically, that even made matters worse cos even wt the 10k people ignored them and still said NO!.


I was so proud of my KD people today wallahi.


Even wt the 10k inducement, they were not moved and some were even threatening to beat up the agents if they didn't leave the area.


From Zaria to KD metropolis this was the case.


This people you see were mobilized from groups under the budgeted payroll of the PDP registered wt Ahmadu Ali's campaign organization.


#I am in KD today and an eye witness to this fact!.


GEJ/PDP r like enemies of the state in most parts of Kaduna.



Even the Governor and Vice-president who are from the state are fearful themselves after the events that followed during Sarki Shehu's anniversary a month back.

How true is this "news"? If true, there are three possibilities...

1. He was killed by the President's footsoldiers so as to "teach him a lesson" or
2. He was killed by an anti-Jonathan element to blackmail the President. Or
3. He was killed by a rival who had personal beef with him, but took advantage of the political situation to avoid suspiction.

POSSIBILITY
The first is somehow unlikely as there are other ways a government "deal" with perceived enemies other than killing especially when the situation is of this magnetude. If this is the case, the perpetrator may be one of the President's foot-soldiers but without the endorsement of the President or his team.

The second is very likely to happen, especially with the kind of politics of blackmail and desperation we play here. However, the anti-Jonathan element that may have carried done it could be a member of the PDP, APC or any other party. If the perpetrator is an APC member, It is likely that he did it without the backing of the Buhari Camp, because the principal was helpful to Buhari's cause in putting record straight.

The third is also very likely to happen.

The onus lies on the Police....
