Na wa for Africa. We are always thinking about the immediate satisfaction. This was why we sold our fellow Africans as slaves just to have a taste of chocolates.
A rational individual will leverage on this and develop their homebase textile industry. We have enough cotton in the continent.
Later we will blame the Europeans for our predicaments after turning our country into a refuse dump.

I initially liked Akpabio. But he trivialised the pains of the people by making a joke of "let the poor breath" in the Senate. I just disliked him since then.

The Vigilantes in Agbor are highly effective and functional. That's one of the advantages of local policing.
In this hard times, people still choose to cause more pains to their fellow man. That is pure wickedness.
I hope they catch the remaining ones soon.

MeineMutter:

There’s no woos for us. The woos are for them. Think rationally, this boy. Don’t just comment here to gain some likes from none.ntities like you.

The 3 countries do not have sea ports. They rely on other ECOWAS countries at our West African coast lines for their sea imports. Don’t forget that sea importation is the cheapest means of international transportation.

The 3 ceding countries would, either create their own artificial seaports within their zones, or do their imports via air, or go to Northern African ports like Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt to clear their shipments which is far compared to southern seaports they have always used before. They can also use Senegal route too.
So, stopping importation through South is an own goal for them. All their import is less than imports of 2 states in Nigeria.

That was what people like you thought when you cut-off their electricity supply. Today they have more stable electricity than your darling country.
Start thinking outside the box bro. Who needs importation, when the domestic production is sufficient.
When they get everything right, Nigeria will even start begging them to export to us. Since in Nigeria, the only thing you think of is import this and that.

What difference does it make..

They leave Nigerian ports to become dependent on Benin republic

At least they can negotiate intelligent deals that covers the modern scope of activities. Not the obsolete deals negotiated by our either greedy or ignorant forefathers. Eg, the Nigerian crude oil already sold out many generations ahead.

More woos for us

I like their idea. Any well meaning country must not be too dependent on another country.
That thing dey cause see finish.

It might be expensive at first for them, but in the long run it will pay off and they will have their self respect.
