Simon Ekpa is a citizen of Finland. No country in Europe ever extradites its citizen to a country with bad human rights record, such as Nigeria

If people recall, when the war in Ukraine started, Finland applied to join NATO but was opposed by Turkey. Turkey demanded that Finland should extradite some Turkish activists who were based in Finland

Finland flatly said no to Turkey stating that it was against the European Convention On Human Rights for it to hand over people to a country like Turkey with questionable human rights record.
