It happened to me few days ago after I updated my console software, I bought a new pad n it will freeze after some minutes of gameplay bt my other pad dat came with d console was working fine. It was so frustrating and after searching various forums i was able to solve it, i hope it works for u too

Try dis process on a PC
The controller firmware needs to be updated
Download d update tool with dis link n extract

Follow d instructions and choose d BT option n connect d pad to d PC with d cord(works for me)
When done try ur pad again n it shld be working fine
