@Avedon dnt even try to trade ur 4922a with 4940,unless u wanted to be restricted to only MYTV and some free to air,and keep ur self away from other goodies that will show face in future and for the 1.8meter dish @kubwa 3Gs sell it for 11k last price.

Guy if you're a newbie contact a pro to help, I have 1.8 meters plus 2 mini dishes that gives me close to 500 channels strictly FTA, ranging from sports, movies, documentary, news, entertainment. Ask the right questions and you can't go wrong.

I don't know anything concerning satellite dish and receiver that's why am here to seek for professional assistance.

I don't want to buy something that I'll end up regretting just like how i bought 4922a receiver without proper consultation.

FTA is getting poorer everyday.
A better option would have been 4940 strong with just 800 naira subscription a month. All mbcs stable with all Mytv packages.
Yes Mytv subscription is now 800 naira a month including MBC according to what the dealer told me today.
Second option would have been Gs6hd which opens champions TV and mbcs and all biss channels

I was told 4922a is the best free to air satellite receiver that was the reason i went for it.

So that means my new 4922a is useless since i can't use it to watch good channels?

just finish tracking TNT sattelite...some interesting channels are on it and i can also see more channels warming up to join very soon....i cant advice you to track it if you're usin 1 or 2 dish....because amos and multy tv seems to be killing fta...but if u have 3 or 4 dish you can go for it...its reall fun
