She should go to the nearest office of the Public Complaints Commission. If she is in Lagos the office is at Old National Assembly, Gate Glass House, TBS, Lagos.
If she is in Ogun its Federal Secretariat. Their services are absolutely free and a case like this will be handled with dispatch.

@OP, first of all don't generalise. You sound so frustrated, if you were not lucky to come in contact with the good ones stop using a blanket description. Some civil servants are corrupt, but stop making it look like good ones are not in the service...


I can bet the op that at a point in time he came in contact with the good civil servants, but because nothing was demanded from him he could not acknowledge that. Now that he will part with some cash it is now a national problem.....

I work with the Public Complaints Commission and in 18 years of service, I have never collected 1 Naira in bribe or even in appreciation after service. Over the years, I have helped people recover millions but never collected 'baba gbope',

Not all civil servants are corrupt and there are agencies to deal with the corrupt ones.

Since you have the necessary documents, go to the office of the Nigerian Ombudsman. Public Complaints Commission, Plot 25 Aguiyi Ironsi way, Maitama. The services are absolutely free and you will get redress.
