Diamond bank is it meeehn This guys dont delay payment atall...... alerts rolling in for Diamond bank Lagos God be praised ...we don get alert |
gametalk:With the on-going seeming smooth transition from the incumbent to the president elect coupled with the fact that the major financiers of Youwin are world bank and DFID, the program will very likely continue. Please recall that Youwin is a 3 year program, Youwin 1, 2 and 3 but the financiers are so happy with the success and credibility of the project that they approved a supplementary youwin 4 when approached by the Fed. govt last year so all they need to do is introduce the project to the incoming govt who should be willing to continue as the bulk of the funds is from the world bank and DFID ( which a lot of people dint know). Also my source is very credible as you guys know i dnt talk much but i give facts BUT THE ELEMENT OF PRAYER FOR CONTINUITY IS STILL VERY IMPORTANT. Regards |
The ultimate question to determine your monitors visit is when did you trigger ? Did you trigger within the first week of April (first 7 days). If you did not you will not be visited by independent monitor even if you get visited by smedan. The list for those to be visited in April was sent to the independent monitors last week and they in turn sent out a list of documents for us to upload after which a visit was scheduled. Visiting for April ends this week so if u triggered outside the first week of April or you plan to trigger within the first week of May then you will be visited between mid May to May 24th. From speculations youwin 4 might even continue |
Emphasis should be to appeal to Fed govt. on the payment of the 2nd tranche and making provision for 3rd tranche before swearing in that's all. Its still Jonathan's govt and the new govt cant stop a project until it has resumed office. But problem we know is a lot has gone into campaign and the current economic situation. The ministry of finance can still get our tranches out so guys do not panic and fight each other. We've been a prayerful team and i guess this is time for yet another round of fasting and prayer. All hope is not lost yet for youwin 3 disbursement. Infact i strongly believe we will get paid our 2nd tranche soon. cheers |

To disburse to 1,500 awardees will definately take more than a week . we all will be paid. Its in batches both bank based and region wise meanwhile i just got a call from my mentor introducing himself and asking for details and arranging for us to see Anyone else with same experience ? |
Please i observed that total balance after the credit says 6,000,000 while available balance is 2,000,000 as per diamond bank my actual tranche 1 payment is 2M Is this the same for other banks ? A fellow awardee also with diamond bank says tranche 2 payment has also been made to the bank but we cant access it for now. I doubt that position though but why is total balance in our account 6M ? if thats the case then total bal should be 7m as 2nd tranche for us is 5m Anyone with an answer ? |

DIAMOND BANK Alerts just came through Congrats guys and lets move on up cheers |
guys all is well . At this junction please lets try to take her minds off the first tranche and concentrate on something else . This is very difficult cos even my self i keep checking this trend to see if at least one person has been paid. PDP rally is happening in Lagos today, resources and time is being pumped into this election and its obvious attention is off YOUWIN for now. Do not forget the Fed govt non-liability clause we signed . I pray this does not take a different turn but please lets start trying to concentrate on something else cos this tension is very hazardous to health. Trust me we all have endured , waited and given all our best, we deserve our alerts We wont be heart broken In Jesus Name. Amen |
please does anyone have any information on whats going on presently in the Nigerian customs service. I have a consignment coming in from chicago and there seems to be an issue from our side here. Haven't they called off the strike ? |
Denn yea ure right about the risk inherent in signing reference for people you dont know too well but the same risk lies in signing for even your own blood brother . I think you are over flogging the risks. A referee is not 100% liable for the misdemeanor of the refereed but the bank is (account officer )hence due diligence and a proper KYC is required. That is why not all accounts require reference but ALL accounts require KYC and compliance mandate. Also a bank official that gives reference to a customer or prevails on a customer to reefer another is highly at risk cos he will loose his job if tins go wrong but a customer referencing another willingly is exposed to less risk . All you need to do is just be able to assist the bank, police, or law enforcement agencies with information about the person you refereed should there be an issue. No one will arrest you if you co-operate as the reference form says how well you have known the person and not how well you are sure he wont misbehave. Pls just get enough information as per the person you are referencing and don't claim you have known the person for too long. |
kaysy your being extremely careful and trying to get it all perfect with figures , u seem to be neglecting the main thing that will make you scale through, your business itself : its viability, genuineness , ability to create income , create jobs and add value with your own innovative ideas. Look deeply into ur business and try to cover the above points, then figures will automatically flow through. CAPITAL EXPENSES CANNOT BE MORE THAN 40%, anywhere you see a comment in bracket pls adhere strictly cos markers dnt have the patience this time. All the best |
Like Seriously !!! ure asking for answers to those questions and you call it your business plan C'mon if you need help on these basic details which ONLY YOU can determine then please forget about the competition cos you will definately need all the help at the second stage . We Youwin 3 awardees will help out like i am already doing for some but you have to at least answer this questions yourself and we can help fine tune it not dropping the whole preliminary questions on a previous winner. Trust me the second stage is tougher and more detailed and you have to be involved all through, the interview too isn't a walk over . All the best |
The 6 geoploitical pools means the 6 geoplolitical zones in Nigeria. you can only apply in one geopolitical region and not combine 2 or more . eg if ure in Lagos and your business is to operate or operational in Lagos, you can only apply in Lagos which is south west , you cannot apply twice in Lagos south west and Imo which is south east. pls see the 6 geopolitical zones below for emphasis SOUTH EAST- 5 States=(Abia, Anambra, Eboyi, Enugu, Imo). SOUTH SOUTH- 6 States=(Akwa-ibom, bayelsa, cross river, delta, edo, rivers). SOUTH WEST- 6 States=(Ekiti, lagos, ogun, ondo, osun, oyo). NORTH EAST- 6 States=(Adamawa, bauchi, boron, gombe, taraba, yobe). NORTH WEST- 7 States=(Jigawa, kaduna, kano, katsina, kebbi, sokoto, zamfara). NORTH CENTRAL- 6 States=(Benue, kogi, kwara, nassarawa, niger, plateau). |
i am really amused and i understand the fear and panic but guys common the federal govt of Nigeria is not broke atall and cant be in years to come, the factors mentioned yes are important but they are not the main determinants of the buoyancy of the nation. Nigeria currently has a GDP of about $540billion (highest in Africa) with GDP growth rate of 7% in 2014 which makes her the second largest investment country in Africa after South Africa and among the top 20 fastest growing economies in the world hence investors all over the world keep trooping in every hour. World financial and economic regulatory bodies are watching closing and trust me the economy is not just in Jonathan's hands so re-election, insurgency and budget is of little effect. The sectors that have accounted for this growth are Agriculture, Services and Manufacturing to the tone of 85% combined while the almighty crude oil is only responsible for 14% so falling crude oil is not really a concern. The economy is doing very well and National income is flowing like never before alongside finance, grants , bonds and securities from int'l bodies and trade partners. Yea inflation is on the increase and value of Naira is diminishing too but per capital income is on the increase too so it kind of balances out I dont want to bore you guys with analytics but if the govt is to give N10m to all 1,500 awardees (15 billion) it wont shake the national purse atall so lets relax and await our first tranche. If they stop youwin 3 ( which they wont by Gods grace) then its not becos of lack of funds |
I think Diamond bank guys are well informed and up to speed , the youwin rep for diamond just sent us mail congratulating us and telling us in details what to do . I called him and he was very polite and friendly. For those assigned to diamond bank , we are to tell them to open corporate acct with product code 201 and they are to write the code 4719 on your account opening package . So they can identify YOUWIN accounts. They will send these accounts to Fed Min of Finance themselves for disbursement Just ask for fee for search and cheque book and pay it in if u like , you don't even have to pay a kobo now as the Fed govt has told them to go ahead and open accounts for us. The charges will be taken from your first tranche. Also if your documents are not complete you can still open pls and your tranche comes in, only thing is you wont be able to withdraw until you provide complete documentation. so dnt let either money or imcomplete docs deter you from going to open your accounts. highest they will do by statutory obligation is to place your account on a NO-DEBIT status pending when your documents are complete even if it is reference. |
Hi All Let me shed more light on the above debate on account opening as an ex banker with same access bank for 6 years The answer is no and yes and explanation is below we have a term called pre-generated accounts in which accounts can be opened in absential and only info required is the name, a maintenance is done when the person appears and all other details are captured. so coolkizzy is someow right here , infact if the name is not available it could be replaced with xxxxxx just for the account number to be generated. But this full process cannot be applied to corporate account except they get the RC number which is used for account opening to generate an account number so Denn is correct here. What access bank has done is to do a customer search using ur name and if u don't have an existing account they they do a customer addition ONLY and leave the full account opening till u come with your details thats why i can bet with you they wont send u an account number yet. so guys both parties are right , they have started ur account opening process already but if you dont go you wont get an account opened. Thanks |
Good question i have been wanting to ask . Does anyone know an affordable hotel close to the venue. I will also be in Abj from 21st though my flight is in the evening cos of work. Will stay till 23rd cos dnt know when we will conclude the signing . |
My validation is also on the 22nd and i look forward to pinning faces to some of these great writers and threaders . I av spoken to quite some people on alternative and renewable energy and still willing to help educate people on the best power options available for their unique business. Please the ground rule is "Do not be in a rush to install alternative power" and don't just make reduced prices your yardstick as all renewable / alternative energy solutions are initially cost intensive in the short run but massive cost savings in the long run and it directly impacts on your profit Even if you don't patronize me please feel free to contact me on advice and lets do a load audit of your business together. Be cautious of inferior products and seek for a second professional opinion on all matters . cheers BB 2A836B63 . akinayzee@yahoo.com |
for those demanding my info on the renewable energy, inverter systems and batteries please contact me on akinayzee@yahoo.com /BB 2A836B63 send me a mail and i will give you my contact details via mail or reach me via BB. Regards |
Ok on batteries ..... about 80% of batteries in circulation here in Nigeria are inferior products from Asia and even from other African countries . Also not all batteries from Europe are of standard quality. Renewable energy products and its accessories require a manufacturer that understands where the products are going to and designs the best quality that suits that environment .... (thats why i am a youwin awardee) cos i dont follow the crowd, i stand out My batteries come with btw 1-7yrs warranty depending on the product and price ure willing to pay and an additional 3 years after warranty replacement at a minimum cost . Guys do you know that a good battery should last you a minimum of 3yrs to 15yrs usage. c'mon there is a solution on ground already guys dnt worry urself about power no more even if ure operating from the deserts of zamfara . We are together and we will be joint beneficiaries of each others innovations....... we are family now |
Denn pls wats your contact details , email and phone . I'll like to have a chat outside of this forum. I am yet to see any other provisional awardee in my line of business. I am into renewable energy with focus on solar and wind energy. To all awardess that will like to minimise cost of diesel by 70%, i have a solution for you all and for all that will spend huge amount on power pls you need to take adbvantage of renewable energy. Alternative energy works if its sourced from the right channels and installed with skills and expertise as there are a lot of inferior products and untrained personnel in Nigeria presently. Has anyone received any notification for Award ceremony ? |
The previous survey too was with our universal ID and almost the same tone. only difference is they stated that we were instructed to register before and after the panelist event. Question is did everyone get the survey mail sent a while ago today ? |
@ stagger , if u realise this is my first time of dropping a comment but av been following the trend all along. I wont talk if i don't have facts and am just dropping a comment now because i have first hand information that is good news . Also the panels that were tough is not just a coincidence, the candidates selected to be interviewed by them have the highest scoring proposals and they are nominated for the presidential awards. why will they have to spend time in selecting a particular tough panel for a selected category of people while some panels will just gist with candidates. That doesn't happen if all have equal marks. why didn't they interview all randomly on a first come first serve basis ?. Guys we are all winners if you have defended and proven u wrote the plan yourself finish. believe it or not. |
we all are winners already. I got information from a reliable source in youwin admin that the purpose of the interview is to determine the genuineness of your business plan and to fish out those that were helped with the proposal and this they can only know from your in-depth knowledge, composure and eloquence. They are not specialists in your field but psychologists . Note if they cant fish anyone that was helped out ., we all will get the grant though amount given will be reduce. |
