The state of the once glorious school that had represented the state and the country in various handball competition both within and outside the shores of this country on several occasion is in a state of neglect. She is in serious state of disrepair. A once centre of discipline is in the shadow of her paste. The school is gracious located in the heart of the barracks but neglected by the authority.

This is the deplorable condition of Army Day Secondary School Sobi Barracks,Ilorin West Local Government Area, Kwara State. This school is situated few kilometers from Ilorin and sandwiched between Ilorin and Shao a town in Kwara state. The Windows are broken,roofs leaking, bad toilets facilities and few chairs and tables and non in some cases for students to sit on. We hope the Kwara State Government and the Military authority will do something about it before it becomes a national embarrassment.

About four churches were yesterday attacked in Ilorin during the cross over service.
