Location: Delta State, Nigeria

Our client is a new and reputable Poultry Farm committed to providing high-quality poultry products to meet the growing demand in Delta State and beyond. We pride ourselves on maintaining excellent animal welfare standards, implementing modern farming practices, and fostering a supportive work environment for our team members.

As we expand our operations, we are seeking dedicated, hardworking, and passionate individuals to join our team across various departments.

Available Positions
1. PEN ATTENDANTS (Multiple Openings)
Responsibilities:

Daily care and monitoring of birds in assigned pens
Feeding and watering of poultry according to established schedules
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in pens
Observing and reporting any signs of illness or unusual behavior in birds
Collecting eggs and ensuring proper handling
Assisting with vaccination and medication administration under supervision
Record keeping of daily activities and observations

Requirements:

Minimum of SSCE/WAEC certification
Previous experience in poultry farming is an advantage but not mandatory
Physical fitness and ability to work in farm conditions
Attention to detail and observational skills
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
Ability to follow instructions precisely
Basic literacy and numeracy skills

2. SUPERVISORS (2 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Supervising and coordinating the work of Pen Attendants
Ensuring adherence to farm protocols and standard operating procedures
Monitoring bird health, feed consumption, and production metrics
Implementing biosecurity measures and disease prevention strategies
Training and mentoring junior staff members
Preparing daily and weekly reports on farm operations
Coordinating with management on operational challenges and solutions
Managing shift schedules and work assignments
Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and facilities

Requirements:

OND/HND in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in poultry farm operations
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required
Strong knowledge of poultry husbandry practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office)
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

3. FARM MANAGERS (2 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Overall management and coordination of daily farm operations
Developing and implementing farm production plans and strategies
Managing farm resources including personnel, equipment, and inventory
Ensuring optimal production performance and profitability
Monitoring and analyzing production data and key performance indicators
Implementing and maintaining biosecurity protocols
Liaising with veterinarians and consultants on health management
Budgeting and cost control for farm operations
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Preparing comprehensive reports for senior management

Requirements:

HND/B.Sc. in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in poultry farm management
Proven track record of managing large-scale poultry operations
Strong knowledge of poultry production systems and best practices
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Financial management and budgeting experience
Proficiency in farm management software and MS Office Suite
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills

4. ACCOUNTING STAFF (2 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Managing accounts payable and receivable
Processing payroll for farm staff
Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
Preparing financial reports including profit and loss statements
Managing inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
Processing vendor payments and managing petty cash
Preparing and submitting tax returns and statutory remittances
Assisting with budget preparation and variance analysis
Liaising with banks and external auditors
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:

HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
Minimum of 2-3 years accounting experience, preferably in agriculture or manufacturing
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Integrity and ability to handle confidential information

5. SALES EXECUTIVES (3 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Identifying and developing new customer relationships
Managing existing customer accounts and ensuring satisfaction
Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
Conducting market research to identify sales opportunities
Preparing quotations and negotiating sales contracts
Processing customer orders and coordinating delivery schedules
Maintaining accurate sales records and customer database
Preparing sales reports and forecasts
Attending trade shows and promotional events
Collecting payments and managing customer credit accounts
Providing feedback on market trends and competitor activities

Requirements:

HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in FMCG or agricultural products
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong customer service orientation
Self-motivated with strong drive for results
Valid driver's license is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Delta State market and distribution channels is an advantage
