We the younger generations I believe can make amends. First by encouraging/allowing non-igbos to own properties in the east and allowing them to vie for positions be it through election or appointment. Politics will continue to appear in human endeavors, but we need to consciously apply moderation so others do not feel brutally assaulted. That way, other tribes will begin to internally soften up and deepen their trust in the easterners.
We need to work together to consign history to the past and open a new page to collectively write a good, kind and lovable story for our future generations.
