I have from a reliable source that, ordinarily NYSC gives schools quota for mobilisation based on their admission power.

Yeah exactly my thoughts too. But that's if our camping is this year(which I pray it will be by God's grace), but if it isn't it's considered invalid

Am not too sure it wl be invalid cos for those of us in Unilag, atlst dos that were mobilised wt batch A had the last idcard which was meant to expire 2014/2015 as some of them dropped old id cards to get certificates.

and they were also given a form tenable as identification document in camp.

My own case is even beta, cos all my classmates (except 1 very lucky dude out of 60+ graduates) missed batch A...ur dept rilly do u strong thing o...chai

no be dept ooo...na one crazy woman for nysc senate office go omit names ....she talk say she dey rush so she no con vet the names......I cld have killed her if nt for God..lol....took d iss to the registrar nd bursar ...they all kept apolgising and it was to late then as the list done reach Abj.

Abi oo....If I had money I cld have sued the school for missing batch A because there wasnt any reason for me not to have bin on that list....out of 48 , just 2 were left out.....and the 2 were amongst d best.....but we thank God sha.....

From my understanding ...unilag released two lists if you have checked...........The first list is more or less nt important...those people went wt batch A i suppose ...cos i know a guy who is serving in Abj presently and is on the first list and as a matter of fact there details are on nysc portal..u can confirm my taking any name in the first list and input their details (surname,matric,school, any date of birth).... The second list is the main list for those who missed Batch A, by omission or by late submission of result by course advisers.. #I stand to be corrected tho#

It wasnt at all,,, the omission was from Nysc office in Senate building 4th floor. I think you are safe as long as your name is on DSA's board......the order is department-senate- nysc office in senate building- dsa- nysc online portal and nysc headquarters. And as I have noticed... the list that was released on unilag website is the names that have bin uploaded to nysc portal.(the format will be same for all schools that have uploaded to).....check the list again you will notice what am saying...so we are safe .

That person is probably an extra yr student whose result was just approved by the Senate. When it comes to nysc mobilization, unilag does not waste time so far as u don't have issues with ur result.

Very false info.......just two names were omitted in my dept in batch A........dats why u see 1 or 2 names in some depts....alot of omissions were made in batch A......and we arent extra year students

Unilag can over frustrate sef.......alot of approved names were omitted in Batch A, myself inclusive, the explanation they gave was they had to rush to meet deadline so alot of mistakes occured

preparation is in God's hands oo...we can only hope all goes smoothly, and I think we might have to fill "mobilization form" in various depts wic will then be forwarded to records office to process statement of result...but i guess dat shld take place next month.
