This only means that you may still be rejected. No decision has been made yet on your application. Am in the same shoes....status reads shortlisted.

OMG! I tot all the regret mails have been sent already. So they still send them? When did you recieve this message and what does your status say by now? I have'nt received any mail or message yet oh! I will let the house know how it goes. Luck to you and luck to those invited too. To those of us still waiting, let us remain hopeful. BTW, has anyone received an invited lately, i mean in the last 1-2 days?

I learnt that SHELL sent out text messages this evening to people already invited for SRD and some whose status still reads "Shortlisted". Still waiting sha!

SRD is the second stage of Shell recruitment process. You should have some info in your invite e-mail.
where did you write your test and what is your discipline pls! thnx.

Mine also still says "Shortlisted" and i wrote my test in Lagos. Waiting for the SRD invite too! @brunofarad....i feel you. Pls make the best out of whateva u have currently

Yeeeesssss!!! the long awaited SRD invites have finally started rolling in. Someone on a sister forum just got his invite for October 3rd though he says his status still reads "shortlisted"..... . @brunofarad, are we talking of the same guy here?

This years shell sttp recruitment program is rather slow and delayed by this time last year.....they av passed the srd stage and heading to the medicals but we are yet to even get the srd invitations this is September 2012...
Or wut do you guys ?

Well...am happy I've not heard from Shell, cos if I have, then I would have received a regret e-mail. For now, there is still hope, possibilities that I would be invited to SRD...

MDYA: Really curious. Is there anyone whose status now reads assessment? Mine stil shows shortlisted

Everyone who has not received a regret mail from Shell should have his/her status reading "Shortlisted", until they are ready to call for SRD when your status would change to "Final Assessment". We are waiting for this change....

More regret messages were sent to unsuccessful candidates last week....nnmmmhhh!Lets keep waiting. My guess is that SRD for technical positions will be next month. Shell is currently interviewing candidates for Commercial positions.

Yet another long week of waiting....it is well with my soul. Amen!

I guess you didn't check well. You should still see your application status when you click on the link "view all applications" not "view all applications in the last 6 months". Obviously, its more than six months now, so your application would not automatically display by default.

mr GrAb: this whole srd thing dey tire me oo, i tot SRD is another method of applying to shell( like pple can apply to SRD). Is it a compulsory part of the process too.. I am expecting an interview or something else if we are successful with the test.. Anyway somebody should clear my doubts..

SRD (Shell Recruitment Day) is the interview stage for the Shell aptitude test successful candidates. Its usually a long day of series of assessment processes. You will also get to make technical presentations as part of the interview process. Hope this info is helpful...Lets keep waiting for the invites.....

Waiting too.... A friend of mine who is already in the system said if one is successful, your application status would be updated from "shortlisted" to "Assessment", then the e-mail would follow. Keep checking guys!

obiseq: My fellow NLders, am confused, infact i almost lost hope in Dragnet as a recruiting firm. They conducted online apt. test and u wouldnt know whether u pass or fail, as regard oil and gas trainee. Many of friends who sat for their test for various companies in d past , some of them received mesage they were sucesful but not a single one was called 4 an interview. Does that mean they are conducting test for fun or wat? Plz i need ur sincere contribution. Seun, plz put it in a front page. Thanks

Good observation, but pls note dt as yommy2sure has said, their contracts are wt d recruiting companies themselves. Dragnet mite tell you dt you are successful after an apt test based on their own system, the recruiting company has its system of assessment and analyzing test results. Dragnets job is to conduct d tests, d companies still choose who they call.

Guys, pls read your invitation letters carefully. I received a mail and then a text msg from Dragnet. Dragnet and Exxonmobil are re-inviting those who already wrote the aptitude tests for re-testing. They have observed that there was misconduct by some candidates during the first test. So, in summary, the last aptitude test that we wrote is no longer valid, we will be writing a new one.
