In school these days, things are shifting, and some teachers are having a hard time with new tools like ChatGPT. They’re not too keen on this change. What’s interesting is how they’re sticking to old ways, especially when it comes to grading assignments. Even though we have the internet now, some teachers are still hung up on how things were done way back when. We’re living in the 21st century, but assignments get the boot not because of what’s in them, but because of how they’re done. Why are we holding on to old ways when we can find anything online? People worry that AI might make us lazy thinkers, but we need to realize that it doesn’t mean we stop thinking. Instead, it’s a chance to make education better. As we go through these changes, let’s not see AI as a problem but as something that can make school more interesting. It’s time to rethink how we grade and help students learn. So, let’s be open-minded as we step into the future of learning![/color][color=#000099]

I encountered a lovely young lady at the park on my way to my hometown, Ogbomoso. She hailed from Ibadan, a student at Ladoke Akintola University in Ogbomoso, heading back to school from Ibadan. As fate would have it, we shared the same spot at the park, sparking conversations that led to the exchange of contacts and the beginning of our relationship. As our conversations delved into personal matters, I disclosed my genotype (AS), and she, reassuringly, claimed hers was AA. Overjoyed, I believed I had found my future wife. As she approached the end of her academic journey, we planned our future together post-graduation. After her final exams, I introduced her to my mother, and our relationship garnered family approval. However, a twist awaited me. One evening, while at her hostel, I stumbled upon her medical card. To my dismay, I discovered she was AS, not AA as she had led me to believe. Confronting her, she confessed to the deception, citing financial struggles during our initial meeting as the reason for the falsehood. The pain was profound as I had invested emotionally and financially in her. In the aftermath of this revelation, I confronted her, grappling with the hurt and betrayal that stemmed from a relationship built on a foundation of deception.

It doesn't surprise because I remember this same set of school students gravely wounded our TP students last year before we bombard the school to safe and apprehend some for the police. Are these students or touts  |
