Imagine Brentford beating Man U 3-1 that Chelsea can't beat. Chelsea as a club needs to wake up from their slumber this season that just begun. |
Even if state police is being created would the power that be from top allows it to function well? It's a pity. |

His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, Nigeria. Dear Mr. President, Appreciation and Plea for the Welfare of Retired Soldiers I write to express my heartfelt appreciation for your tireless efforts and the remarkable strides your administration has made toward the growth and development of Nigeria’s economy since your assumption of office. Your bold decisions, visionary leadership, and commitment to national transformation have not gone unnoticed, and we, the citizens, are grateful. Permit me to especially thank you for your recent recognition and generous rewards given to our heroic Super Falcons and D'Tigress teams for their outstanding performance, discipline, and patriotism in flying Nigeria’s flag high on the global stage. These gestures have not only boosted morale among athletes but have also inspired a renewed sense of pride and hope among the youth. Mr. President, I humbly use this medium to appeal on behalf of another set of selfless patriots, our gallant soldiers who have served this great nation faithfully for over three decades. Many of them, after serving for 35 years and sacrificing their strength and lives for the peace and unity of our country, retire with benefits that are hardly enough to build a modest home or start a small business. Some return home disabled, bearing the scars of their dedication and bravery. These men and women stood in harm’s way so that the rest of us could live in safety and freedom. Therefore, it is only fair and just that they receive the same honour, support, and recognition as our athletes. As the saying goes, "what is good for the goose is also good for the gander." I kindly appeal that your administration considers reviewing and improving the welfare packages of our retired soldiers, so they may live their post service years with dignity and comfort. Mr. President, your compassion, wisdom, and leadership are already moving Nigeria forward, and we trust that under your watch, no patriot will be left behind. May the Almighty God grant you continued strength, sound health, and divine guidance throughout your tenure. May He empower you to steer this nation toward the promised land of peace, prosperity, and unity. Thank you once again for your service to Nigeria. Yours sincerely, A concerned soldier.
