You need to. It’s a requirement, most people use temporary stay places like hostels and this is acceptable

For visa purposes, It’s only compulsory if you’re below 18. I did not submit anything concerning accommodation and I got approved.


It’s only at the border it’s required before entry into the country.

Hello please am I supposed to pay agent, my school is recommending I use an agent even though I have all my documents prepared and ready to submit. The agent I contacted is quoting me 450k for visa application. So please if school is the one recommending an agent am u supposed to pay any fees to them.

I’m going to ATU, the list of agents they gave you are in no way connected to the school, they’re just giving you a list of agents they trust, so you have to pay for their services.

I didn’t use any agent sha, cause when I was ready they were all doing shakara for me, so I researched online and did it myself.

Quick question guys, has anyone recently paid Irish university tuition from Nigeria using Form A, especially through Flywire? Which bank did you use, did you pay Flywire in EUR or USD, and how long did the whole process take? I’m looking at a €10k tuition payment and Form A could save me more compared to paying directly in naira, so I’d really like to hear from anyone who has done it recently.

I paid mine with over the counter transfer. I got the Euro cash , deposited it to my euro account then made the transfer from the bank to Flywire.

The speed depends on the bank. I didn’t use form A.
Cause I paid in two installments, the first went through that same day, while the second took about two weeks.
UBA. But I her Access bank is very efficient with FX transfers.

You can also add a recommendation letter from your employer

Hello good evening please is unconditional admission letter and receipt of tuition fee payment enough to apply for visa cause after paying the fees I didn't receive any other confirmation from school and no one is replying to emails I'm guessing maybe they are on holiday or something. Or what other documents do I need from the school to apply. My school is ATU

I’m also going to ATU. ATU does not respond to emails, you can only contact them via your portal.
There is a finance tab on your portal, there you see an invoice that shows how much of your fees you’ve paid.
You can print out that invoice alongside the unconditional admission letter to submit with your other documents for the visa.

Nothing yet, but on the ISD portal it has changed to “ Application Complete”. So I’m just waiting, hoping and praying for the best

Look, if you haven’t already, create a profile on the ISD customer service portal. You can check the real stage of your application there (instead of the general ‘In queue for processing’ response).

With the date you applied, something must have been done on your application. Even people with ‘Received at Embassy of Ireland in Abuja’ dates of early June are already getting decisions.

Nevertheless, you still have the whole of August. So continue to pray for approval. We wish you good success,

On the ISD portal, it been on ‘Application Received’ , ‘ Application payment complete’ for the past 12 weeks. No movement.

It is compulsory, check the irish immigration website, you'll see "Accommodation and Vetting Certificate" as part of the required documentations.

It is not compulsory for those over 18 years of age.
Dont put unnecessary pressure on people
