A member of the National Youth Service Corps Batch B 2016, Jaja, Lucy Samuel handed over a fully established ICT laboratory and constructed a block of 2 toilets to her host school and NYSC Secretariat respectively in Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

The ICT laboratory and Toilet block, which are the Personal Community Development projects of Miss Jaja, a graduate of Political Science and International Relations from Esep Le-Bergér Université, Cotonou, came at the right time being that there wasn’t an ICT laboratory in the school before now, not even a mouse to site and students found it difficult to understand the entire concept and rudiments of the subject.

However, more than three communities in and around Abak Local Government Area – (Etimekpo, Ukanafun, Uruk-anang, just to mention a few) depends on the school as the sole source of primary and secondary education for their children.

The block of toilet constructed consists of two units of toilet space (for both male and female) met the need of the staff at the NYSC Secretariat. Before Miss Jaja’s intervention, the NYSC Secretariat, had no toilets which created a poor working environment for staff at the secretariat.

The corps member, who serves with Mcintire Secondary Commercial School, Utu-Abak, established an ICT Laboratory, equipping it with 3 monitors, 3 CPUs, a 3-in-1 hp Laserjet Printer, 3 units of mouse, 3 keyboards, installed software programes on all 3 system units, fixed electrical connections, bought a brand new Sumen Firman generator set to power these gadgets, painted the laboratory and secured it with burglary proofs including the roof.

She told sources she spent 505,000 to execute these projects.

At the commissioning ceremony of the projects on Friday, the School Principal, Vice principal, NYSC Local Government Inspector and Zonal Inspector as well as other officials of the school and NYSC secretariat.

Essex Police have taken to Twitter to tell West Ham United fans not to ring 999 to complain about the club losing.

The Force Control Room sent the message out after the Hammers lost 2-0 to Watford on Sunday:

Force Control Room added it was a "genuine call" they had received, one of "hundreds" wrongfully made to 999 on a daily basis.

Manager David Moyes was taking charge of his first game with the Irons, but his side failed to muster a result as Will Hughes and Richarlison fired the Hornets to victory.

KIM Kardashian has revealed that her surrogate was unaware that she was carrying the star and Kanye West’s baby.

The 37-year-old admitted that she and Kanye, 39, could have remained completely anonymous to the woman, however Kim felt she had to tell who whose baby she was carrying in case she wasn’t a fan, reports The Sun.

Speaking on The Real she said: “She didn’t know at the beginning.



“Well you can do it totally anonymously.

“You could go that route, and I just felt like I wanted, whoever’s carrying my baby, like what if they weren’t a fan of me or my husband? And what if they didn’t want to be carrying our baby?

“I wanted to give them that choice and be proud and on the same page and I wanted a relationship with her.”

ortunately for all parties the surrogate was happy to carry their child as she was a fan — but not too much of one.

Kim continued: “She was really excited! She was someone that had watched the show, not like a super fan or anything that it would have been uncomfortable, but she had seen my struggle and seen how open I was about it.

“So she was really proud to do it, really excited.”

As Kim gears up to welcome her third child, a daughter, she also revealed why she didn’t invite her surrogate to her recent baby shower.

“I, um, I did not [invite her]. I did introduce her to my family. I introduced her to my family earlier that day.

“And, you know, I just thought, I don’t know, it was like a weird decision to have to make.”

She continued: “Of course, I would’ve wanted her to be there and be a part of it.

“But I hadn’t really gone that far in explaining it to my kids yet.

“So I have to figure that out first before they really see and then if we’re celebrating, you know, her, I just want to celebrate the baby.”

Kim, who is mum to daughter North, four, and son Saint, 23 months, went on to reveal that she has a great relationship with the surrogate.

“I love her. I have the best relationship with my surrogate. She’s so nice,” she said.

“She is the perfect persona to do this for my family. She’s great. She’s been amazing.”

I was just contacted today by CIC today to check my profile that it has been updated. I checked and it's saying my additional documents are being reviewed (it didn't say this yesterday when I saw my eligibility status).
The eligibility status still says I don't meet requirement.
Final decision is still blank.
I replied the flight school with the application status page and embassy email address earlier this morning.

You applied for a TRV a year ago? I am not understanding you. I know flight school applicants undergo serious scrutiny, necessitating time to check through and verify everything to make sure its is right. You have the 9/11 hijackers to thank for that. Everywhere government has restructured the way it conducts business in the aftermath of 9/11. Even this biodata sharing information between countries, is due to that event. At any length, try and send the letter of denial to the school. They might be able to write a letter to the embassy addressing some of the concerns raised. A bulk of the concern raised has to be addressed by you though in your next application. The letter from school helps only a little because the burden of proof rests with the applicant, not the school.

Goodday, ive been following this thread for a while. I applied for a Canadian Study permit to study in a Flight School for approximately a year and some weeks. I submitted my application on 25th October, 2017 and i got a message to check my profile yesterday. After i checked, i found out that my eligibilty had changed to "We regret to inform you that you do not meet the eligibility requirements. Please see the final decision below" but theres nothing infront of the Final decision. its just blank. (from this i already know its a denial)

I immediately mailed the flight school to inform them of the denial and they replied me. Below is the picture of the mail.
i would like to get a suggestion on what to do next or if the decision can still be changed if the school contacts them.
