Sometimes in 2018/2019, my son came home from Boarding School for the Holidays and as usual we will talk about his experiences, challenges and stuff.

Then he said Daddy, please don't tell my School Guardian o, I said no Problem. He told me that virtually all the boys in his hostel are into Betting and I was like how do they go outside of the School to place the bets? Because I know that the School is very strict with students movement while in school, they are always on lockdown.

He shocked me with his reply. He said the Hostel Masters and some Teachers usually assist with Bet placing and they share a % in the winnings if there is any!

I told him that I will inform their Year Tutor about it and he begged me not to because, if others find out he was the one that reported, they might harm!

I Just told him not to indulge in it and that it ruins life.

I planted maize on March 19th alongside my pregnant wife in our backyard. Interestingly, hers thrived without chemicals, growing bigger and healthier than mine! However, my crops faced insect issues, which I successfully tackled with Caterpillar Forte.

At harvest time, I was blessed to share abundantly with others and enjoyed plenty for myself, including delicious pap!
