Thank you yacha77. Still awaiting responses from people.
yacha77:
I wanted to do this because it seemed to make sense making profits , money is guaranteed and can be liquidated at any time. Was advised against it, situations differs so let us hear from the gurus in the house....

Still awaiting responses on the below request please.
AyodejiAyeni:
Good Morning Gurus,

Please will Canadian embassy accept Mutual Funds statement of account (e.g ARM) showing my transaction history and my investment balance as a Proof of Fund for student visa? I intend to also get letter from ARM backing the Mutual Fund balance. The letter will state categorically that I have access to liquidate my investment at any time. I also intend to print my bank account statement indicating my transfers to the Mutual Fund Investment account. The investment is particularly a form of savings towards my post graduate studies. I thought it wise to invest the savings for reasonable returns rather than keeping it in my account. I have maintained the Mutual Fund Investment account since 2015.

Kindly advise.

It’s normal for anyone to feel what you’re feeling right now especially since there’s so much to loose if it doesn’t work out. After your study, u will definitely get a post study visa. This is the link for for what you will qualify for.
https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/apply-for-a-visa/tools-and-information/work-and-employment/how-long-you-can-work-on-a-post-study-work-visa

Do you have a family? If u do, are they coming with u? this is very important.

About your age, NZ doesn’t descriminate about age or gender as it’s unlawful to do that here. I don’t think getting a job will be an issue if your course of study is in high demand.

I will encourage you to do more research about your course of study since u don’t wanna work outside that. In NZ, I can guarantee u will get a job in no time if you have the attitude and willingness...... I don’t know what kind of menial job is done in the UK, but u can easily get a job in production & manufacturing , retail, construction, warehousing and agriculture depending on where you live.

Tourism is a booming part of NZ economy, and you should check what the pay rate is and also the employment opportunities as these will be crucial in qualifying for a further visa or residence if u choose the job route.

If you fall in the low skill after your study, u will have to leave NZ for a year of stand down when u exhaust ur post study visa. But I think you can also get an employer assisted visa if u work for an accredited employer even when ur post study runs out if I’m right.
.

Hello, my case is not too far from the one you provided advice for above. Gainfully employed and married. I applied for Master of Supply Chain Management with Massey University and I'm awaiting their response. My wife will be joining me.

I will like to know the amount I need to have in account when applying for Visa.
