Question for the House, Please what Visa Category will a PA apply for in a case he's going with his boss for business meetings and also family vacation? B1 OR B1/B2 remember he's traveling to the U.S in his capacity as PA to his boss.

B1/B2 covers both Business/Tourism.

Good morning, here is my transcript, had my interview last week friday.

VO: Goodmorning, Passport please
Me: Good morning. Handed over the passport
VO: where are you going in the US?
Me: Minnesota
VO: what are you going to do there?
Me: I am going with my MD who is going on vacation with his family in the capacity of a personal assistant
VO: How much do you earn?
Me: XXXk
VO: If you boss is going on vacation, why do you need to go with him?
Me: Because he is not the organised type, I still need to do some things for him
VO: When did you joined the Company:
Me: XXXXyrs
VO: Have you known your boss before you joined the company:
Me: No, joined as a corper and later retained in the company
VO: Are you married:
Me: yes
VO: Children?
Me: yes, 2
VO: Tell your boss that the VO said you need a pay rise(jokingly)
Me: Smiled
VO: ok, i will approve your visa, you can pick up at ...........................

No single document was asked for, although i had all necessary documents with me

Good day house, i want to say a very big thank you to everyone that responded to my question last month. I went for my visa interview today and im so happy to tell you that it was successful. Thanks for all the words of encouragement and your time in answering all our questions. VO did not even check any of my documents despite the fact that i went prepared with all docs. Lol.......One thing i can deduce from the US embassy is that, you should be yourself and be truthful.

Looks a good case to some extent but for the PA title sha.... It is much more easier for a man to disappear leaving such young family behind than for a woman to do so, lolz! Previous travel and its reasons are on point and in correlation with this planned travel too, these are points going for you. Arm yourself with a reasonable personal bank statement, even if just for confidence boosting and decoration purposes.

Married with two beautiful kids, good! They and hubby won't be travelling with you, nice also. Their ages? How old are you too? Where's hubby resident and what does he do? What's your pay like? How are your personal circumstances and ties? How do you intend to get past the immigrant intent presumption? etc. Well, in all, you have to qualify for a visa as an individual irrespective of who your sponsors are, let this guide your every move. Thanks for your response to my mail. I have a boy of 5yrs and a girl of 3yrs, and I'm in my late 30's. I have also travelled with my boss on two occassions to Kenya and Dubai. My pay is 150k. My hubby and children are here in Nigeria and he is a Logistics Manager in a reputable firm.

Good Day House, I have been a silent reader and i have been very impressed with all the advice and recommendations being given. Now back to my main point.

I already submitted my ds-160 and my interview is scheduled for next month, but the question is, I'm supposed to travel with my boss who is going with his family on vacation due to my job description as a personal assistant. They already got visas which i was the one who filled and submitted and also accompanied the wife to the embassy for her interview because hers was rescheduled. The company will be sponsoring and an hotel booking has already been made in my name. I am married with 2 beautiful kids, I would like to know my chances of getting the visa and likely questions that will be asked.

I think you should put in consideration women that had children through CS, especially if its not just once or twice they have had the CS, their tummy is not likely to go back the same way it was before, because they are not allowed to use hot water in pressing the tummy after childbirth or tying of cloths around the tummy because of the incision. So people like that are bound to have big stomachs.
