Well said. You're on point... wordproof: No sane human being would support/promote hate speech, but in Igbo its said "igagi (ima) agba nkiti eburu ihe nnagi gafe ama ulo unu"... That is "you won't keep calm and watch your father's property being carried across ur compound". You just have to say something.
The injustice in this country is too much, they said study hard and make good grades n u get the best jobs around...done! the best job u can find without political connect pays below 100k...only to rent an accommodation in any reasonable part of Nigeria is 150k and above (self con ooo).
They say its better to study abroad or do masters abroad....done!, and they tell you we can't employ you, you haven't done your NYSC and even if you have that your remuneration is too much for them to employ you, after over 35 interviews (and spending millions to be educated) and you be like...Okay, entrepreneurship nko? You open a small business, manage register the company and government will come even as you are struggling to survive(as if them give u money hold), generating your own power and water that your business needs to survive: business premises tax, developmental levy, VAT, Environmental levies, Security (as as u know only you can secure yourself) etc...all this to ensure you are frustrated out of business.
And when you finally survived, Company Income Tax will come with minimum tax even when you made loss... Most likely based on the small bank loan you got (since it's turnover and net assets (which will definitely be higher) And all the Oil Companies that pays upto 95% of their Gross Profit as Tax in other countries (which is where our elites benefits from) is given 85% or less than 67% of chargable profit tax...you see my brother the country have made it difficult for honest, industrious youths to survive without coming to lick the foot of one dirty politician or another...
I have followed several threads here on nairaland and I see people attacking Nnamdi KANU (he might have starter wrongly with hate speeches and making the struggle an Igbo thing) but he's the only reason the elite have ever been scared since after the civil war, the only reason restructuring is even considered. Nigerians should be thankful for Nnamdi KANU...even if there will never be a Biafra, we will have a sane Nigeria. |
