conference services department.
This is a temporary position and the number of scheduled hours per week will vary

Duties:
• Will report to the event supervisor for assigned tasks.
• Welcome guests attending events, taking and/ or scanning tickets, ensuring valid event entry.
• Assist with pre-event set up and event closing, fulfilling required tasks as assigned by the event supervisor. This will include a pre-event venue walk-through to ensure all aspects of the House are ready for guests’ entry and clearing of the centre once an event is over.
• Will assist the event supervisor with duties as assigned and take responsibility for assigned post and/or venue section.
• Ushers will assist to their best ability the event supervisor to help all guests evacuate safely in the event the fire alarm system is activated or any other emergency.
• Complete an usher training programme facilitated by Groomsmenforhireng and conduct tasks in accordance to this training.
• Carry out all other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
