TINUBU AND APC REJECTED AGAIN IN KATSINA

How would they be healthy competition when states receives allocated from the federal govt?
Some state might not receive theirs for months due to political differences, but if states are allowed to control their resources and pay tax to the federal govt, maybe then there might be fair and healthy competitions amongst these states, some states might grow faster than others not just because of their economic strength but because of the kind of leaders they elect to control the affairs of the state.

They’re one of the most corrupt countries in the world. They hardly ever say things as they are. Lobbying is corruption, and the U.S. doesn’t need to teach me otherwise before I know what it is

What you are calling bribe here in Nigeria is what USA calls lobbying.

How would a sane person even think he’s lying?

Paying bribes to secure government appointments should be punishable under Nigerian law. Likewise, creating dubious government parastatals for personal gain should also be a criminal offence.

Neither the bribe giver nor the recipient has the country’s best interests at heart. Both should be removed from office and handed over to the DSS for criminal prosecution.

That is what any government genuinely committed to fighting corruption would do. I doubt the current government has the political will to take such action, they’d rather cover up than admitting such crime(s) is(are) happening under their administration
