HIPROFILE:
Hello fellas I got the SMS too for more info on the nature of the test kindly refer to the 2013 thread of this same topic on nairaland we can get some clue from there
Meanwhile we should be expecting psychometric questions/field specific I.e Elect/Elect gets electrical related questions and same to Mechanical biased candidates.

Thanks

Since it's a graduate trainee...we shouldn't be expected to part with any money rather they are the one that will pay us ....

sammyashons:
Thanks bro, but how much of TD do I need for computer engineering? Is it so important?

If you don't know TD,don't worry...it only depends on the kind of engineering you want to do that will determine how applicable it will be.... like us,we did it once while mechanical engineering did it more than once...focus on the aforesaid subjects more....I mean the trio......

Fulaman198:
Is there not a way you can get the training in Nigeria?

How? Give me the details......

mtutor:
Yes is still available, please send your details now.

I will tell the person...thanks...

ideepaul:
What of doing computer science and engineering as a single course?I guess that one is the best!

It depends on your proficiency!! If you are very good in maths,f/maths,physics, TD etc,go for engineering. Besides,it all boils down to your overall life ambitions. Do u want to be a programmer or hardware engineerBut on neutral ground,I'll advise you to study engineering because it touches almost all facets of computer science which make you indirectly have an edge over them*****computer engineering can practise as a computer science not the reverse!!!!*************

ideepaul:
FUTMinna is offering it as a bsc programmer(Cyber security science)...sometimes I wonder which is more rewarding between cyber security science and computer science and engineering

It depends on you to choose between computer Engineering and computer science. Both covers wide field of computer' while cybersecurity will just limit you to this field.I am a graduate of computer engineering and with a few certification, I'm a cybersecurity expert!!!!#act smart....

pmy:
I was mainly at TNS institute of information technology and another institute which I really didnt enjoy.

I visited Innobuzz in New Delhi but didn't take the the course (I still feel I should have gone for it - about 40,000naira).

Still can't vouch for them though

I sent you pm....pls,reply me...I just want yo have an overview of how much it will cost to undergo the training in India, the duration, steps to take etc

Is it still open?besides, where's the location?

It is better for you to do Computer Science first then Msc in cybersecurity. If i may ask, which school is doing this?

austein:
Pls guys sorry 4 deviating, got a txt not quite long from NA LTD: in review of ur CV, U av been shortlisted for a written test/interview on Wednesday 29/10/2014 by 9am @ 5 Yimusa Adeniji Street Off Unity Road Toyin Ikeja. Any info about NA LTD?

Disregard it bro...gnld on point!!!!#confirmed!!!!!

I doubt if you have circuit diagram for this...ain't programming... like the usage of microprocessors..

zemaye:
This is interesting!!!!!

so interesting

Subuhanalahi
What a well written article!!!

ceejayluv:
you dey find trouble ooo...

Ceejay..I c u...are u going to be around next wk Tue...I want to do updating......

Feraz:
Boss, I appreciate. In as much as I'm grateful for your contribution, this is not a thread to campaign for anybody but one to discuss the way forward for the field - Engineering as a developing nation. I'd appreciate you leave it at that.

OK I get u...is it because of the buhari I wrote there?no problem.. I put it there because I believe he can change the present conditions of Nigerians... I'm not a politicians in whatever forms!!!!!!

You really nail your points on the head but I,as a fellow engineer, I know the challenges we are facing... even if you are well equipped theoretically and practically for the tasks..the environment is so so non-conduicive to achualise your dreams.
This reminds me of a particular guy I know in the varsity

He was the most studious among us

He hardly played with us

He didn't joke

24/7,he was with his book reading except if he wanted to go to mosque and pray

When I asked him about what he wanted to achieve,he told me many aspirations but alas when I saw him some weeks ago,he was not doing anyone of them

The worst was that he doesnt't apply any of his aspirations

Imagine!!! What's he going to do when the structures are not on ground for him??

We can't kill ourselves nah!!!

All in all,God bless Nigeria.....

Buhari all the way...............

Hello house, how's your exams going... I hope you find it easy..glory be to God! I wish u all A parallel in your exams ###regards

sleekman:
American and German ba3s don't come cheap. Do d maths and u'll see its better 2 go for d American/German ba3s.

alright ...thanks bro..which inverters are best to use?

Don't you want to patent your work?

sleekman:
Ultimate AGM
Hoppecke (I hope I got d spelling right) -dis is a German product and its badass
Hipower Lithium -this is another very good battery.
Haze Solar
Lifeline
Trojan
Synergy

Pls note batteries on this list last btw 5-10yrs depending on its use. 100Ah Hoppecke 4 instance equals 2-3 chinese equivalents

I hope there's no Chinese version of this batteries sha ooo besides, a 200ah 12v of them will definitely exceed 50!!!!
