Why dont you post the screenshot here so that the public can understand you better.
Toks engines are usually given one week guarantee max.
He usually buys engines through a VIN check and several other measures to make sure he gets the best for you.
No engine seller will even allow you to go beyond opening the oil filter cap, checking the dipstick and turning the engine crankshaft usually with a spanner. It's a used engine remember all these points I mentioned above can never determine how the engine is being used by the previous owner.
I advise you to go and settle with him.
He might be rude and arrogant to you, but ask yourself questions why he gives you such attitude.
He wasnt rude and arrogant the 1st time you discussed and agreed with him.

Hope you know 4 gallons is approximately 12 liters? If the engine truly burns 12 liters of oil within 2000 miles, then there is a serious problem.

Or can you explain what you mean by 4 gallons of oil. Or you meant 4 liters of oil?

You can not be the judge in your own case.
You don't expect anyone to take your word for it just like that.
You made a claim and should provide evidence.
You brought the matter here and should be able to respond to questions from people when they ask (not telling people to ask the other party for evidence/proof to support your own case/statement/allegation).

No one is saying you don't have a case (with or without evidence) but your reluctant not to provide it would not make anyone proffer/offer meaningful contribution to resolving the matter.

It is your money; I and others are just onlookers interested in resolution or is closure.

He is very shady... He wanted to change the new alternator for the old one but I caught him. He now later gave his boys instructions not to allow customers inspect their cars oooo. Right in my presence using hospital as a case study.. saying something like if doctor give u this and that "will u complain"

He rejected my engine oil and never returned

He collected money for clean and shiny tokunbo but ended up buying BORALE that consume 4 gallons of oil within 2000miles... I don't even use the car much, I allow take it out when I have appointment and inspection

You live in Lagos ojodu which is 10-15mins / 6-8km drive from my workshop., even after you insulted me I was still gracious enough to tell you to bring back the car and get a Full refund this was exactly on the 29th of October 2020 @ 19:41. I gave you 24hrs grace you did not respond after that, you did not also ask for extra time. Today is 21st Nov 2020.

Some car parts are trial and error. Some car parts are even without return policy or warranty. Once you buy and pick it, no refunds. But GAZZUZZ gave him a very good option. Police can't do nothing here if OP has signed and agreed to the terms and conditions spelt out before him. Even the court won't do nothing. The best bet here is to seek gentle man way out of whatsoever he is in.

I got it for 2k, the engineer fixed it for 1k including petrol for washing off the spilled oil.
The switch is on the engine but it has a wire connection to dashboard.
Honestly, I never knew there was leakage: I thot it dried up too.
Some shitty mechanic even told me the oil was fake hence the drying up!
I do put1litre mobil oil every 200km-300km until I got tired of buying engine oil.

Since I fixed that thing, everything became perfect!

So, kindly take the car to a workshop, tell em to check the oil temperature/pressure switch/sensor if its okayy and check the rear and base of the engine for oil wetness.

It may help instead of all the hassles.
