Taking care of the elderly is an enormous task but is very rewarding both on the short and on the longer term.You need to have the following qualities :

1. Patience:and I must say a lot of it as you must do things at their pace and not at yours.

2. Tolerance/endurance: You must be able to take in their abuses,vomits,poo,wee,sleeplessness etc

3. Compassion: You must truly care for them to be able to take good care of them.

4. Emphaty: Understand their feelings and put yourself in their shoes to really know how they feel

4. Be very observant: You must be a person that pay great attention to details.Seeing, observing and listening to them at all times to be able to understand them and to meet their needs.

5. Understand their kind of person; Their personality,likes and dislikes,mood swings,eating and sleeping patterns etc

6. Be flexible and able to adapt quickly: You must not be rigid when caring for an elderly person as they may change their pattern of doing things due to the aging process and health conditions.

I have never read or seen anyone who went to Canada via other routes that didn't get the permanent residency.

you enjoy a citizen of Canada privileges and become a Canadian citizen after 3 years.

That is why the rush and the madness.

The Plane Iran shut down, did you noticed that even those who were Iranians but are Canadians citizens through the PR process are been treated as canadian citizens by Canada?
