Tell the landlord/agent that your working place transferred you to another state so therefore you can't and wouldn't need to stay there anymore. Plead with them

Buy a wifi hotspot modem about N15K - N35k depending on the model and type.
It has battery and can be charged with USB cord, keep it outside in a safe place outside the apartment, but in a very safe/secured place outside.

Then connect to it with your password.

Come back and thank me later
like i said before no money for what you are suggesting

FamilyMy Work Is Suffering , New Apartment Has No MTN, Airtel, Or Glo Signal Indoors by babaidan(op): 12:26am On Jun 12
Good evening everyone.

I need advice regarding a house I recently rented through an agent.

I have not stayed in the apartment for up to 3 days, but I have discovered a major problem that is seriously affecting my work and income. There is virtually no mobile network inside the house. MTN, Airtel, and Glo all fail indoors. I have tested multiple phones and networks in every room, including the parlour, kitchen, and bedrooms.
The only way I can get a little signal is by opening the door or going outside. As I write this, my younger brother and friend are outside late at night trying to get network access. I also use several phones and a laptop for my work, so this issue has already affected my productivity and earnings.
The building is relatively new, and this problem was never mentioned by the agent before I paid. Had I known that there was no usable network inside the apartment, I would have seriously reconsidered renting it because my work depends heavily on internet access.

My questions are:

If I report this to the landlord and agent and they refuse to refund my money or provide a solution, what are my options?

Can such a matter be reported to the police, or is it strictly a civil matter?

Does this situation give me any legal grounds to seek a refund or compensation, considering I discovered the issue almost immediately after moving in?

I would appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced something similar or has knowledge of tenancy and property matters in Nigeria.

Thank you

I need honest opinions because this one really got to me

I am a man in my 30s, I went to an elderly woman’s shop for a business deal, the job requires me to send a detailed video explaining exactly what I want her to do

Because she is an elderly woman , She is not very very familiar with WhatsApp even though she uses android , so she gave my number to her daughter, the girl should be around 17 to 19, so I can send the videos through her

Now look at the screenshot I attached, the first thing I see is her calling me “Bro”

Bro

I had to pause because I could not believe it

In my upbringing, you don’t address someone clearly older than you like that, especially not someone you are dealing with for business, that kind of term is for your friends or people in your age group, not a grown man in his 30s

This is not casual chatting, this is something that involves work and possibly money

So now I am asking,

is this just how this generation talks now, or is this actually disrespect

am I overreacting or is it wrong for someone that young to address me like that in this kind of situation

if it was face to face, would she still say bro to me

and in a business setting, is it too much to expect something as simple as sir

because honestly it made me start questioning the seriousness of everything immediately

so I want to hear real opinions,

would you ignore it, correct her, or just walk away completely
