You're not making sense. Historically, all Igbo clans called other Igbos "Onye Igbo" or "Ndi Igbo" as if they themselves are not Igbo. Even in these modern times, if an Igbo man is talking about another Igbo man, the adjective he uses to describe him is "Onye Igbo." That means that every Igbo describes every other Igbo as Onye Igbo right from antiquity. That is Igbo culture.
