After my last week interview with Mictec school, I had already given up on d outcome, only to be called on monday to attend d 2nd interview 2dy, after which I prepared all I could. On getting dere I discovered am d only one left, probably odas didn't meet up 2 d second phase of d interview. After meeting d Hr officer, ds morning, she said her best has been done, but I must give my best shot 2 convince d principal to hire me. But mehn, he sounded nice @ first during pleasantries, after which he countered all my questions,to a point I became unconvincing 2 him. So he said the hr ll contact me. Am worried, but I hope I get d job.

Went for a written test @ Jacobs Model School today, was questioned on Maths and English 4 2hours. The Maths was 35 questions, which I tried 2 d best of my ability,but the English was much easier with 35 questions too. Worried about d maths though, but was told by the headmaster that my answers would be marked, and he ll keep in touch' hoping it turns out good. God bless d movers of ds thread.

I just applied for the role of a male secretary @ Mictec International School this noon, only to get a mail reply 2hrs later, to come for an Interview tomorrow 12pm noon. Hopefully it ends well, expect a feedback......Thanks for d work on here.

should probably be based on common entrance questions...most may give you quantitative reasoning as well as maths,english, maybe verbal apt and general paper. it may not be all that but surely around those subjects i mentioned.
Best you prepare for all though. Next time you can ask which subjects the written will cover so you can prepare properly..(no harm in asking)

Loool, That was exactly what I did for NewHall International school at Lekki-Chevron, They invited me for their interview bt were unable to provide accomodation, I was evn the last to gt to the interview venue, Bt they still waited for me sha (lol), I told them I cnt cope without any accomodation after the interview and I left,three days later, they still called and sent my transport fare(3k) back to me by asking for my bank details. You can also start now ...

Try calling phone numbers on their websites too. + start from schools close to you.

Need an advise on this, am currently browsing schools in lagos and sending my CV to their email. Is this advisable, as I feel most schools hardly check their school email. I would av gone around and distribute them in person,but due to low cash. Any advise please?

Blame the following:
Government- who believe to be corrupted is morally right, than to be educated
Parents -The first contact of every child, who believe, if my ward doesn't pass, its the fault of the failed educational system, then the next step is to bribe their wards way to success
Students- Who believe everything is social media,science,technology,short-cuts....rather than handwork,patience,willingness and the ever powerful weapon of reading.
Above all I blame the power of 'Money'....we believe is the solution to all problems....Government prefers oil income than educational impact, y? It fetches more money.....Most Parents ll say money answereth all things....and Students I must be rich, hook or crook....

Your second question....Bro u really have to be careful, if a student is crushing on u, its better you leave it @ student-teacher level, bt if out of d crush, u fall along, u going to lose ur self-respect, dignity and u might end up having your self-worth stained.
