kenny2u: I have a 99accord lx, d remote key got missing and at times d alarm system triggers on itself 'horning n headlights flashing' dis won't stop until u go to d passanger door n insert d key to reset d alarm system. What can be done to this n hw much will cost me to fix up remote..

LX comes with a dealer installed remote while EX comes with d factor installed, pls re confirm which one(lx or ex). Also is it only d passengers door dat resets d alarm? What of d drivers door. Send me yur email and I will tell u what to do, a remote can be programmed to work for you car by yurself

Make sure u disconnect d other remote system first or d car will not go into programming mode because of d interference.

A while back, the honda remote control got spoilt nd removing the factory security system was unsuccessful so we got one of this regular security system installed and now it clashes with the factory one. I want to know how much to remove the regular alternative nd if its possible to get anotther remote for the factory system and its cost also

U need to remove d one u installed after d factory failed,tell d electrican dat installed it to remove it completely or remove d main fuse that came with d alarm system.dat will deactivate it. Then u get d factory remote either from me or anywhere u can get it.d fcc I'd should be kobutah2t or h3t ,then I will send u instructions on how to program it or talk u thru it.send yur email address

Camry 97-99 has two types of remote system, d factory and d RS3000. D remote system is a option for this car

It could be either of dis three
1. D remote is bad
2. The car lost its memory
3. The reciever is faulty

Assuming it is d second option, then u might need to call me and I will talk u thru reprogramming it yourself or drop your email and I will send u d instructions,but confirm d fcc I'd of d remote so dat we are sure u have d right remote

No need to scrap any remote system that came with your car,there is always a replacement,whether it's factory or dealer or aftermarket.

I deal only with d remote systems, a corrolla CE does not come with a factory installed remote, u will need to install d aftermarket remote system

I just bought a Nijja used Big daddy off someone on Nairaland. However, the remote doesn't work. He said it needs to have its battery changed and probably reprogrammed. Is this the case? And how can you help?

1.Confirm the trim is a LE or XLE,if a CE it will not work
2.Change the battery if it does not work then it will be either a bad remote,or it need reprogramming or d car keyless system is faulty
3.Have someone test d remote with a remote tester to confirm it is ok,if it is not then u will need to replace d remote. D fcc I'd should be GQ43VT14T,if it is 2005/2006 its has booth control(4 button).2002-2004 does not has booth(3 button)
4. U could re-programme it yourself by following d instructions I will send to u ,send me your email

Started discussing getting a remote with him 2 days ago. Paid the agreed amount into his account yesterday and this morning, collected it. What's more, the thing is so easy to programme. I just followed the instructions he emailed me and it is working perfectly. It's a pity I'm not in Lagos otherwise na you for help me get and programme a spare key.

This is the second transaction I am doing on NL (paying money to someone without either seeing/knowing the person or seeing the good) and I am happy to say that both have been great. JW214: I bought a remote for my Toyota Corolla Sport(2005) from this guy, the programming took less than 5mins, the buttons on the remote are working perfectly like the old remote that came with the car before it got damaged and lost.

Not all cars are fitted with the factory remote system.For Camry, corrola, sienna. The CE trim is not equip with a factory system,only an after market remote fob will be installed on d above trim

U have a carbine silencer remote,was it originally starting d car if yes then those button might be bad.u will need to replaCe d remote,call me on mondAy and I will check if I have it in stock,if not will place an order for it.

Meet any auto locksmith and ask for d shell of your key,it's together with the key.so u will need to cut the key part and transfer the remote and chip to d shell,cost about 3k

This car was bought from me in 2010 and was used by a woman, its up for sale now for d above mentioned price

I stand to be corrected but this bridge has many flaws,i checked it out yesterday and I was shocked
1. No bearing pads,(wood was used)
2. The diaphram beam was an after thought ,provision was not made in most of d longitudunal beams
3. No adequate expansion joints,as it should have been provided at every span
