Two or three weeks ago, I saw his interview where he said his job in our team is to score goals

I love Alonso as our player, and even since his time in Liverpool.

But as a coach, it was obvious that he's not there just yet. If we had waited just one more season and let him continue at Leverkusen, the truth would have come out.

If he had flopped at Leverkusen and they fire him, he'll still have the chance to learn and grow.

But Madrid is the pinnacle of football. If Madrid fire you, there's only one way your career will go: down down and down.

Now our impatience will ruin a potentially great career because we couldn't even wait one more season to let him grow and learn and gather more experience.

Dean Huijsen really need to work on his positioning and add some muscles to his game. He's a literal weakling out there. With his height, he's also weak in the aerial game.
