Compensation is not the way out, let us all stand against this rubbish at once .

 I am using this medium to call the attention of the people of Lagos State to the act of administrative misdemeanour being perpetrated by members of the board of the newly established Lagos State Neigbourhood Safety Corps. It is disheartening to note that since the inauguration of the agency in April, the agency has refused to pay the agents their salaries, let alone their paltry training allowance.

My brother who was suppose to provide succour to the family after getting the job has rather become a beggar, draining from the little the family is managing with in this time of economic recession just to get to work daily.

How can people who were given the chance to serve the public be that callous and greedy? Governor Ambode, please come to our rescue because we also have families to feed.

To make matters worse, gadgets worth billions of naira were locked up in a store to rot away while agents were armed with a whistle and a baton to face miscreants on the street.

Lagos is supposed to be a Centre of Excellence. This type of corrupt practice is not supposed to rear its head at a time like this when we are faced with insecurity in so many forms. Please, pay us our salary arrears
