Romance › Re: Wedding Cancelled After Lady Refused To Call 11-year-old ‘aunty’ by BAGGYZONE(m): 6:17pm On Oct 01, 2025 |
Rubbish.. why would she call a child aunty?? The woman can keep her son.... DyshApp: A lady has taken to social media to share how her wedding was called off three weeks before the due date over her refusal to address her 11-year-old sister in law as ‘aunty’
The post, shared on Facebook by a relationship adviser, Adefemi Taiwo Damilola.According to the bride-to-be, it all started when she asked her fiancé’s 11-year-old niece, Temilade, to help her zip up her dress.
She had called the girl by her first name, which didn’t sit well with the mother-in-law, who requested she address Temilade as ‘Aunty Temilade’ as a sign of respect.
The bride, who revealed she was a master’s degree holder and nearly two decades older than Temilade, argued that it was inappropriate to call a child ‘Aunty.’
However, her mother-in-law reportedly insisted that all family members, regardless of age, should be addressed with ‘Aunty’ or ‘Uncle’ as part of tradition.
The disagreement escalated when the bride-to-be also greeted another niece casually, prompting further complaints about disrespect.
Her fiancé, who took his mother’s side, accused her of allowing her pride to get in the way when she refused to comply.
The dispute ended with the mother-in-law sending the bride out of the home of her husband to be, calling off the wedding, and the fiancé blocking her on all social media platforms. |

Bros, you mix up two different things and dey teach class 😂. ‘Egg banking’ for my talk na market slang which means bulk egg supply/wholesale. The one you dey yam about (human egg preservation) na medical procedure, hospital and lab work, totally different context......So if you wan argue, at least try understand before u comment 😂. Me I dey move crates and collect weekly balance; you dey reason IVF and cryo like na you get lab pass. Ask for help if you no sabi, abeg. Lastly, When person say ‘add liver to fried rice’,.... E no mean say na human liver from hospital dem dey fry. Same way egg banking no mean say na hospital lab matter.....Na street supply we dey run, simple. U want a fight and I don't have time.... I'm to busy for that so I won't fight with u... Nazgul: No bro you should ask for help. This is the meaning of egg banking.
You're an egg dealer not an egg banker.
There's a clear difference between the two words. |

Bros, if you no sabi, ask for help 😂. Whether I call am egg banking, egg flipping or egg waka, e no change the principle........You buy cheaper from farm, traders balance you after sales, and another batch don already move. Na volume dey bring the steady cash every week. While some dey argue name, others dey cash out....Labels no dey pay bills, results dey 😎. Nazgul: You said egg banking in your previous post.
What you described here isn't egg banking.
You no even know business way you de do. |

Egg banking na just my own coded way of describing bulk egg supply.... Nothing mystical. You buy direct from farm cheaper, move am to traders/restaurants, dem balance you after sales......Small margins, big volume, steady weekly pay...... Simple. Believe or no believe, e no change my account balance 😏. People dey think say na yahoo I dey do.. I no really send anybody Nefort: What is egg banking? |

Dey play? I no look like footballer wey dey run up and down for field 😂. Egg business no be lab matter abeg.... Na pure supply flow, buy from farm cheaper, drop for traders, dem balance you after selling, and you don already move next batch......Na volume dey make the money steady every week. No microscope, no billions… just small sense and consistency. Nazgul: Lol. De play.
You'd need a lab worth millions to be able to effectively store the eggs. And if 180k is what you make after spending billions to setup your laboratory, I won't call that profit.
But I know you're just catching cruise tho. |

Then buy 3 bag of rice, one bag of beans, tubers of yam, boxes of indomie, spaghetti, and a lot of cans of milk, Milo, egg, and enjoy your life till the whole foodstuff finish, at least you chop the money for ur head, than looking for how to multiply it by 5 to make it 10million in a year..... ... Oga, The probability is close to zero.zero that you will succeed in any business that will multiply it by 5x in a year for a business u don't even know yet.. .. Speaking from plenty years of experience losing millions to this kind of thinking and question which will lead you to ventures that will make you lose the money in record time while u remain hungry.

Not true bro. With ₦3m capital, I dey clear like ₦180k steady every week from egg banking. Na daily need hustle wey people dey overlook, but e dey pay pass plenty things wey guys dey chase.... Life sweet ooo.... Una no go understand sha😎 Nazgul: Apart from gambling which isn't even guaranteed, it's almost impossible to invest 2m in a geninue business and get 10m after 12 months.
Businesses takes time to mature, and 2m in this economy is nothing. Meaning even if you want to go into fast moving business like foodstuffs as most people here suggested, your 2m investment would get you almost nothing.
Beans is about 95k per 50kg bag
Rice is about 65k per 50kg bag
Meaning if you buy 10 bags of each, rent a shop and sell them in derica at retail prices you'd spend 1.6m acquiring them (that's minus transportation and other miscellaneous)
Those 10 bags might take you between 3-4 months before you sell them completely. Depending on the location of your shop and the level of competition you have.
So let's look at beans...
Cost price of 50 kg bag of beans: 95k
1 derica = 1 kg of beans (close estimate for pricing)
Selling price per derica: 2,500 – 3k ( in Lagos, depending on location/market)
50 kg bag gives roughly 50 dericas, but due to spillage, stones, beans shells & measurement differences, sellers usually get 48–49 dericas per bag.
Profit Calculation
N2,800 per derica for 49 derica would give a total of about 137,200. If you minus 95k from it which is your cost price, you'd get N42,200 as profit per bag.
You should know that transport cost, market levies, storage, and owomida people can reduce that profit slightly.
So realistically, you can make about 42k profit per 50 kg bag of beans when selling in dericas, depending on your location, price, and efficiency.
If you multiply it by 10 bags you'd have 420k and if you do the same for rice you'd have about 840k. If it takes you about 4-5 months to sell off the bags then you should know that you won't even make your principal (2m) after one year let alone 10m.
So like I said, every successful business needs time to grow. Anyone promising to give you 10m with a 2m investment after one year would end up scamming you. |

Lol not baking bro, it’s egg banking 😅. Think of it like this: instead of letting 1M disappear on betting, you use it to move crates of eggs in bulk from farms to shops/restaurants. Eggs finish every day, demand no dey slow. That same 1M fit give you steady ₦60k profit every single week FxMasterz: Please what's egg baking all about? |

Tharmon: I work as a sales boy in a shop were curtain accessories are sold and in this line of business some customers tend to owe not because they don't have but because they don't want to.
So there is this man that I know and he owes other people too, he should be in his forties and I'm 21, so he bought goods from my shop today worth #60k and told me he will pay me once he gets back from were he wants to use the items he bought so he decided to drop his phone because I didn't allow him to carry my goods without paying. so this evening when he arrived he was sweating and complaining that the customer has not paid blah blah blah..as usual of them
He couldn't even pay up the person that went to work with him complete. He tried explaining to me sweating and all that that what is left in his account is #35k which he paid to me but I didn't allow him to go with his phone, I turned deaf ears to his ranting and assured him he is not leaving there with his phone without paying the remaining balance of #25k. He had no other choice than to leave without his phone and now am worried if I have done something wrong .
Was I wrong to keep his phone? What would have been the right action I would have taken because I'm feeling very bad now like what will he tell his wife about his phone. You did the right thing bro... Don't give him that phone until he pays the balance or you'll never see him again, and even if you report to the police they'll first tell you to mobilize them before they make any move |
