Hey guys,
Please I need answers to the above question. My domain name with Namecheap has expired and I have tried severally to use my Diamond Bank Naira VISA card to renew the domain name but the card has always been declined.
I even tried to pay for a few other things like a Premium LinkedIn account but it's still declined.
I remember a few months ago Nigerian banks sent out messages that they'll no longer support the use of Naira cards for international transactions.
Due to the expired domain name, I'm losing traffic and clients already. So please which card do you use to make international payments like on Bluehost, Amazon, and Namecheap?
Thanks so much in advance and God bless. |

Emaimo: UNIUYO RELEASES CUT-OFF MARKS FOR ADMISSION 30th June,2016
The DEAN OF STUDIES/STUDENTS AFFAIRS of the university of uyo yesterday released the cut off marks for students aspiring to study at the university of uyo. From him “the ranges of this cut-off Mark has been used for years past, and there has been a little improvements this year based on the number of applications”. Quoting exactly what he said: "What I can say is that we normally call to test the aptitude of candidates that scored 180 and above in the UTME examination and 200 for competitive courses, due to jamb instructions and NUC (NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY COMMISSION) rules, but the reality is that we do take candidates that has met the objectives of our own PUTME. I know lots of candidates may think we usually take the average results of both their UTME and PUTME score e.g (210 + 230)/2; no we don’t, we can only consider your Jamb scores when we want to reduce the number of people we admit since we do not have enough accommodation for people here and on occasions that they are too many people heading for a particular department. The cut off mark is something that anyone can’t say it is fixed cause we do change them on many occasions so I will just give you a list of cut of marks that we will take this year during our PUTME so that you can inform others in order to enable them apply when we start selling out our aptitude test forms.” In Uniuyo we have about 92 active programmes operating under 12 FACULTIES until we can expand it to accommodate more and more students. That’s why we have so many project at the university permanent site. HERE IS A LIST OF ALL THE DEPARTMENTS AND THEIR AVERAGE PUTME CUT OFF MARKS. 1-ACCOUNTING : 220 2-ACCOUNTING EDUCATION: 200 3-AGRIC-ECONOMICS AND EXTENSION: 185 4-AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING:190 5-AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE AND EDUCATION: 190 6-AGRICULTURE: 195 7-ANIMAL SCIENCE:195 8-ACHITECTURE:210 9-BANKING AND FINANCE: 220 10-BIOCHEMISTRY: 235 11-BOTANY AND ECOLOGICAL STUDIES:215 12-BUILDING: 210 13-BUSINESS EDUCATION: 205 14-BUSINESS MANAGEMENT: 220 15-CHEMICAL ENGINEERING: 220 16-CHEMISTRY: 210 17-CIVIL ENGINEERING: 195 18-COMMUNICATION ARTS: 215 19-COMPUTER EDUCATION: 200 20-COMPUTER ENGINEERING: 210 21-COMPUTER SCIENCE: 190 22-CURRICULUM STUDIES: 185 23-ECONOMICS: 220 24-EDUCATION & ECONOMICS: 200 25-EDUCATION AND MATHEMATICS: 200 26-EDUCATION AND MUSIC: 185 27-EDUCATION AND PHYSICS : 190 28-EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SCIENCE: 180 29-EDUCATION AND RELIGIOUS STUDIES:180 30-EDUCATION AND BIOLOGY: 200 31-EDUCATION AND CHEMISTRY:200 32-EDUCATION AND EFIK/IBIBIO:190 33-EDUCATION AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE: 200 34-EDUCATION AND FRENCH: 210 35-EDUCATION AND GEOGRAPHY: 205 36-EDUCATION AND HISTORY: 195 37-EDUCATION AND INTEGRATED SCIENCE: 190 38-EDUCATION AND POLITICAL SCIENCE:200 39-EDUCATION AND SCIENCE: 215 40-EDUCATION AND SOCIAL STUDIES :180 41-EDUCATION ARTS: 200 42-EDUCATION FINE ARTS: 185 43-EFIK/IBIBIO: 190 44-ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING: 240 45-ENGLISH LANGUAGE: 220 46-ESTATE MANAGEMENT: 200 47-FINE AND INDUSTRIAL ARTS: 190 48-FISHERIES AND AQUACULTURE: 180 49-FISHERIES & AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT: 185 50-FOOD ENGINEERING: 190 51-FOOD AND SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY: 205 52-FORESTRY AND WILDLIFE: 200 53-FRENCH: 200 54-GEOGRAPHY AND REGIONAL PLANNING: 190 55-GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING:180 56-HEALTH EDUCATION:185 57-HISTORY AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES:220 58-HOME ECONOMICS: 185 59-HOME ECONOMICS AND EDUCATION:180 60-HUMAN ANATOMY: 215 61-INSURANCE: 205 62-LAND SURVEYING AND GEOINFORMATICS: 200 63-LAW: 280 64-LIBRARY SCIENCE: 180 65-LINGUISTICS: 190 66-MARKETING:195 67-MASS COMMUNICATIION: 210 68-MATHEMATICS: 220 69-MECHANICAL ENGINEERING: 230 70-MEDCINE AND SURGERY: 275 71-MICRO-BIOLOGY: 205 72-MUSIC: 195 73-PETROLEUM ENGINEERING: 235 74-PHARMACY: 240 75-PHILOSOPHY:210 76-PHYSICAL EDUCATION: 205 77-PHYSICS:220 78-PHYSIOLOGY: 210 79-POLITICAL SCIENCE:220 80-PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY EDUCATION: 180 81-PSYCHOLOGY:190 82-QUANTITY SURVEYING:210 83-RELIGIOUS ANS CULTURAL STUDIES:205 84-SOCIOLOGY AND ANTHROPOLOGY: 200 85-SOIL SCIENCE:190 86-SPECIAL EDUCATION:180 87-STATISTICS: 200 88-TECHNICAL EDUCATION: 185 89-THEATRE ARTS: 229 90-URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING: 200 91-VOCATIONAL EDUCATION: 195 92-ZOOLOGY: 200. Crime › Niger Delta Avengers Denies Arrest Of Its Members, Dares SSS by BahdXitixenn(op): 3:05pm On Jul 02, 2016 |
NIGER-DELTA AVENGERS DENIES ARREST OF ITS MEMBERS, DARES SSS TO PARADE SUSPECTS BEFORE REPORTERS The Niger Delta Avengers on Saturday said the announcement by the State Security Services to the effect that some of its members were arrested was laughable. In a statement posted on its website, the Avengers, notorious for its wanton destruction of oil and gas installations across the oil-rich region, said the SSS should grant reporters access to suspects in its custody to substantiate its claims that those arrested were members of the militant group. The SSS had said in a statement it distributed on Friday that two members of the Avengers were arrested as a result of intensified surveillance the service recently put in place to forestall criminal activities across the country. The statement, signed by Tony Opuiyo, also said some members of the separatist Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as well as other criminal elements in different hideouts across the country, were also arrested in the operation which lasted throughout the month of June. Christian ‘Sensor’ Oluba and Selky Torughedi were the two individuals with alleged ties to the Avengers who were apprehended while plotting to launch an attack on an oil installation, the SSS said. But in the statement signed by its spokesman, Mudoch Agbinibo, the Avengers faulted the Director General of the SSS, Lawal Daura, for trying to fool President Muhammadu Buhari by giving him a false sense of comfort over the situation in the region. Mr. Agbinibo said the individuals arrested were, in fact, SSS moles whom the department only arrested and labeled criminals after they demanded payment for the clandestine operations they had carried out for the country. “The boys have the right to demand for their money from SSS, why not pay them instead of arresting and labeling them as Niger Delta Avengers members?” Mr. Agbinibo said. “If SSS are (sic) denying this, let them allow the suspects to speak to the press. We (Niger Delta Avengers) don’t have any connection with these boys. We dare the SSS to allow the boys to tell the world their side of the story.” Mr. Agbinibo admonished security outfits to desist from “feeding” Mr. Buhari a false narrative about activities across the region, saying the war against oil vandals would not be won if they remained economical with the truth. “SSS and Nigerian Army can’t win the Niger Delta war by feeding their President with false information about situation of things in the Region. “It’s all good because as it seems the SSS is now having internal crisis with most of their sleeper agents and it’s a sign that God is on our side,” Mr. Agbinibo said. The Avengers also decried Mr. Daura’s alleged indifference to the truth, saying the security chief should imbibe the teachings of his faith as a Muslim. “This is to SSS Director Lawal Daura, this the holy month of Ramadan and as a Muslim you hold it to Allah and the Nigeria people to say the truth. Why not come out with the truth?” Mr. Agbinibo, therefore, urged the authorities to sort out their matter with the informants, adding that Mr. Buhari should focus on more important issues in the Niger Delta. “The Nigerian Army will never get us (Niger Delta Avengers), let them go and settle with their sleeper agents and stop deceiving the general public and their President. “There are problem in the Niger Delta region such as underdevelopment, environmental degradation, lack of infrastructure and the issue of self-determination. These are the areas Mr. President should focus on, not arresting their allies and linking them to Niger Delta Avengers,” the Avengers said. Idydarling: Uniuyo is a place to be, apart from the normal school stress, housing: if you want to stay outside, u can get a self-cont from 80 to 150k, but a normal room with sharing of toilet is from 2500 to 3k, if you're lucky, u might be asked to pay only a year. if u want to stay in the hostel, you'll have to apply when doing ur screening u apply for space, if you're lucky ur name comes out, you'll only pay 8500, if not, you'll have to get from another person who's willing to sell her space from 35, I bought mine at 45, depending on the location ur bed lies (double bunk, single et al)........
ur deptal uniform is sky blue shirt, black skirt and a touch of red... one more thing, be sure to build ur cgp in ur first and second years, make serious minded friend, engage in social activities on campus, belong to an association, face ur studies(uniuyo boys can disturb no be small), the environment is a very friendly one as students from all over the country attend the institution, gd luck dear, u can ask me any other info, I have friends who are in ur dept and can connect u to them(for past questions and others) feel free to ask me anything else @idydarling are you a student there? |
