When welcome letter came in October 2017 for he and my sister, they automatically placed him in f2b because he had aged out. After confirming that he had little more time with cspa, we called nvc and made them aware that he was eligible under cspa ( that is you challenging them). We initially went to a lawyer that told us nothing can be done, that was when we started making our research. It was at nvc they gave us the procedure to write them which we did. They responded after six weeks and confirmed that he was protected under cspa. So subimition of document followed swiftly.

provided you were under 21 when your i130 was submitted, there is a high chance that you will qualify under cspa. Those eligible are children of citizen, permanent resident and some others I can't remember right now. The cspa subtracts the months your case was pending from your actual age. In my brother's case,
his priority date was 16 may 2016
his 21st birthday June 2016
Uscis approval October 2016.
Date of filing became current October 2017
When this info was supplied to cspa calculator he was like 20 years and 9 months or there about.

My brother migrated to usa at age 23 using f2a, and his i130 was approved in just 5 months.

Mine is March 2016, we are just WAITING. With this ban, everything seems so unsure. Even after the pandemic and the temporary ban on green card, there's still the specific ban on immigration from Nigeria ��‍♂️

my siblings too aged out but thank God for cspa. We had to challenge the aging out using child status protection act. If you don't challenge it, they just make you go through f2b.

Visa Bulletin for January is out, F3 retrogressed a week, F4 moved a little, the rest remained same.

F3 moved from 15 June 08 to 8 july 08 so that is 3 weeks movement.
