You missed it on two grounds: 1. The Speaker mentioned that they have been promised about 10 times . Let's be realistic, even you go vex. It also means that this new promise from Innoson is not guaranteed! Besides, they are still testing, in their own words. Who knows what the results of the test will be? 2. The government of Abia state is not actually owing them. Innoson admits that the government wanted to pay, but they asked them to hold on. 3. From 2 above, I deduce that they knew there could be issues like this along the line. 4. That been said, it is normal for production companies to shift completion dates. From Aircraft manufacturers like Boeing and Airbus to Plants like the dangote refinery. However, it it obvious that even Innoson was too optimistic on delivery timeline leading to this 'expectations postponed' from the law makers, which the good book tells.us makes the heart sick. 5. The Product Managers and Assembly line Managers of Innoson have questions to answer. Dijita: This is all ado about nothing. Lack of communication between the speaker, Innoson and the governor. This is something that should not be in the press at all.
I am rooting for you here Innoson |

Thank you for the detailed answer Kelklein: There is no strict number attached to any prayer one can make..
In the Islamic faith, like in some other faiths, supplications (praising God, seeking His forgiveness, blessings requests) are doctrinally done in repetitition.. of numbers such as 100s, 1000s or any number you possibly can.
It has been the practice from the days of the old.. it is believed that repeated prayers keep the devotee more focused, more steadfast in faith and hence quickly answered by the Divine hosts. |

You have said it all! We miss that man. SoNature: I want Amaechi to remain relevant in politics. That man has big plans for this country. Amaechi is a strategic administrator. I want him to return to PDP and contest for Senate.
The only challenge is that he may find it difficult to win because he was foolishly fighting his people to please his bosses in APC. I hope his people have forgiven him. |

Omoku or Bonny which one? iLegendd: I Just Discovered Something
I want to brag and I don't care who gets offended.
I just realized I was born in the greatest local govt. in Nigeria. No other local govt. can compare.
1. Free light 2. Free water 3. Free rivers and pond for fishing = free fish 4. Free primary and secondary education (no school fees) 5. Free scholarship home and abroad (if you're smart) 6. Free farm land to go into agriculture if you're an indigenous person 7. Free land for house — if you're an indigenous person 8. Free palm fruit if you want to go into red oil production 9. And more
After watching videos of how Nigerians are suffering under APC to fuel their gen just to charge their phones, I felt privileged.
In fact, you need connection to get even 10 liters. I just realized how lucky people from my LGA are, yet most of the guys here are rugged and into cultism, fraud, and dru.gs. Some of them live in the bush.
Your place get constant power supply for free for close to 2 decades, yet you live inside bush. 80 percentage of the shops and businesses are owned by Igbo people.
What is wrong with my people?
If you're from this LGA, in Rivers state, and you're poor, you're just lazy. You can't come from a blessed place like this and still be poor.
If you have electric vehicle here, you'll never remember fuel exists.
Even me, once in a while, I get lazy and forget how blessed we are here.
You'll never know what you have until you lose it.
My married cousin called me that he wants to visit me and spend 2 days with a girl that has been disturbing him.
He told her he's married, but she said she doesn't care. She told him to make her a second wife. It's more than 2 days now, but she has refused to go.
Why? Free constant light, free food, free dick, and more.
I never knew having free light is a thing of pride and I dey here dey am less less.
I need to start being proud like my brother Burna Boy. I'm too humble for my liking.
Sex no dey even hungry me else I for tell am make him bring the girl come room make I use d*ck scatter her leg since she no wan go. |

This man keeps exposing how dumb he is everyday! I remember when a section of a particular road was fixed in this country and there was constant accident along that road caused by you guessed it: b]overspeeding by drivers on the new road [/b] It is a known fact in Port Harcourt that even after the many new roads rehabilitated and improved upon, you can be stuck for 30mins - 1hr, then get to the junction that seemed to cause the accident only to find that there was no bad road nor accident, only stupid driving that blocked the road.Obi does not know the country he wants to rule. Let him settle Labour party affairs first. Our politicians are the reasons Nigeria is called shithole
I travel to ordinary Cyprus I was wow imagine I swear Nigeria no get levels reach Cyprus since 2days I have not seen lights is it not enough to call this shithole country a shithole
I do virtually everything for myself no government interventions everything that exist and can be found in shithole countries are found and residing in Nigeria so that qualifies Nigeria to be called a shithole country

You are welcome. It is good to see that we can have an exchange without the usual insults so characteristic of this forum. On the matter, like I mentioned before, he may be taking cognizance of their peculiar business trajectory and circumstances. Then again, everyone cannot be in Nigeria. Even Simon Ekpa that is fueling ESN is not in Nigeria. Reno is well travelled and this helps him bring some interesting perspectives to a broad range of intellectual discourse. He is quite intelligent. Let's give him his flowers. Cantonese: Thank you for correcting yourself.
My point was that if he was looking at “buy Nigeria”, he should not have discounted 9mobile completely, knowing its present Nigerian background. Those who go to equity must have clean hands. How has Reno suddenly become an apostle of buy Nigeria? He must relocate permanently home to qualify for what he is asking for.
He was a member of PDP under GEJ. What stopped him from getting his then government from doing the needful.
All we ask for is a better country, where life is better and easier for the citizens. |

You know very well that starting as etisalat, 9mobile is a company that was rescued from bankruptcy. I know you are referring to the exit of the UAE investor but you cannot discount their influence on its foundation. I don't even know if they have cleared that loan that put them in crisis. It is natural not to put them in this conversation. You know better than what you said earlier about Reno making no sense. I may have sounded too hard on you, but I don't like the fact that people hate Reno simply because he is not following the herds. He has his own issues. Even I, before reading the full thread, I wanted to criticize him. But I saw he made some valid pointsCantonese: No, 9mobile is owned by any Nigerian organization. It is owned by investors from the moon.
Where is the arrogance and where is the ignorance? If you do not have facts, why not simply ask. Did you follow the stories of the telecoms companies since 2000? Do you know how they evolved over the years? Who currently owns 9mobile, if you have the idea? |

Don't say what you don't know. In Rivers State, we wish Amaechi served for 3 or even 4 tenures. Amaechi touched every aspect of human development and was very transparent. Have you heard of the famous 10,000 teachers recruitment in Rivers State? There has been no recruitment in government like that (in recent times)! It was so transparent that from the aptitude test you'll know if you made it or not. You do not need connection. Non-indigenes had their own slot! He established the Songhai farms. He established Greater Port Harcourt, in an attempt to decongest the core Port Harcourt city. He built the stadium close to the airport(Adokie Amiesimaka stadium), not those little things we had in Moscow road and Stadium road inside Port Harcourt (civic centre and liberation stadium respectively). Should we talk about the scholarships abroad through RSSDA? Should we talk about the Amaechi schools? Should we talk about the Workmanship and technical training center in Bori, where people are trained to city and guilds of London standard, certified by city and guilds, and they are fed with monthly stipends to boot? Each local government had a quota. Or you want to talk about the fish farms? The cars to medical doctors? The rainbow town housing construction? I don tire to type! Amaechi is in a class by himself. DomPerignon: Amaechi has been on public payroll since 1999 starting as a state assembly speaker for 8yd straight under Peter Odili's administration. Another 8 straight years as governor of Rivers to which he betrayed his own party.
Amaechi has had 24ys in public position at the highest state and federal levels.
What did he do to alleviate the sufferings of the poor?
He should stop pontificating to us because he is one of the highest beneficiaries of the corrupt system . |
