Politics / Re: NNPCL Must Sell Locally-refined Petrol Now - Daily Trust by bamasite2: 11:25am On Aug 18
Just one question:
Was Tinubu the one that started turn around maintenance (TAM) of the refineries?

Was Tinubu the one that returned the money when it was sold before?

This present repair, was the contract initiated by Tinubu?

Government is messed up, yes. But let's not make it seem everything is Tinubu.

Like you rightly said, under government ownership, the refinery will never work. The only reason NLNG is because it is not run by Government.
Under private ownership, the refinery will work.

What is the way forward:

SELL THE REFINERY TO PRIVATE OPERATORS UNDER A TRANSPARENT BIDDING PROCESS

onatisi:
Nigerians should keep dreaming .
Which NNPC will sell locally refined petrol ? Even to sell crude oil they can't. Tinubu will eventually sell those refineries to his friends . They are only trying to make it look as if they have tried their best . Those refineries will be sold ,they are only bidding their time .
When atiku said it that he will sell them ,dumb Nigerians started shouting ,Tinubu knowing how dumb Nigerians are quickly cashed in on it and Tod them he will make it work ,now has it started working ? Those refineries won't work ,it will be sold as total scrap and the worst Nigerians will do will be to rant online .

THE EARLIER NIGERIANS REALIZE HOW TOTALLY USELESS AND DISHONEST TINUBU IS ,THE BETTER FOR THEM . NIGERIANS SHOULD LOOK BACK SINCE TINUBU CAME IN AND POINT OUT ONE THING HE HAS PROMISED SINCE BECOMING PRESIDENT AND HAS DONE , HE WILL PROMISE THEN TURN BACK ONCE PEOPLE BELIEVE HIM AND RELAX

Romance / Re: Until You Understand These Harsh Realities, You Will Never Be Truly Free. by bamasite2: 6:32am On Aug 17
You're smart too.
Your thoughts create a balance.
Understanding the op's point is also crucial as that is the default setting of the world system.

Even in the saner climes you talk about, they are the authors of the evil, others are only copying them.

Remember all the evil experiments they have done, and especially using the blacks?
What's the LGBTQ+ movement all about?
Why is all evil black?
What was the whole COVID and vaccine drama all about?

And if you must know, the whites are the main drivers of this view who try to burst the myths, enter Andrew Tate, Alex, etc
Proserpina:
I'm honestly curious as to how you intend to "navigate" and "resist" society troubles you listed in your initial post as A REALIST you are.

This is you normalizing abnormalities in a society and preach them as fact. If Government is not your friend then who is the government? Aren't they people in our midst selected to govern us? If they can't be friends, shouldn't they be held accountable?

If the law is not there to protect you, why make them at all?

Churches are not there to save you, no Jesus saves not church. Church is a congregation of believers of Christ not the savior himself. Church is a group of people like you who come together to share what they have in their discretion. It is entitlement mentality to think a group of people whom you share same economic and social policies with are OBLIGATED to SAVE especially FINANCIAL saving. The Bible and Holy Spirit are number pathway to spiritual growth. There are lots of church goer's who don't grow spiritually not because the church is bad but they are yet to be saved.

Money in Essence isn't Debt, Loans are. Any right thinking being knows to minimize debts in business.

Doctors take oath to save lives, most doctors of functioning societies do all to ensure their patients are fine. If you preach otherwise it's little wonder your politicians would rather travel miles overseas to get treated than improve hospitals in Nigeria. Lol... They know people like you will understand and preach it as hard truth to gullible ones.

And who's fault is this? Your colonisers keep improving their educational system while you as a nation keep doing things same old way. Thank God for some private schools they inculcate practical life skills into their curriculum. Should we demand this for all institutions as well? Oh I forgot, Government is our enemy grin grin they are untouchable grin

Lol Probably because your nation is a dumping ground for things that ought to work but don't. If you produce drugs yourself and not wait for a group of pharmacist in India to research and create drugs maybe you won't get drugs that takes days to work at expensive prices.
Even at that some still work grin

Another sob story. Your vote should count shouldn't it

Lol I can go on and on but I'm curious how do you intend to navigate these hard truth?

Politics / Re: Abia Assembly, Innoson Face-off Over Vehicles For Lawmakers (photos) by bamasite2: 11:12am On Jun 15
You missed it on two grounds:

1. The Speaker mentioned that they have been promised about 10 times . Let's be realistic, even you go vex. It also means that this new promise from Innoson is not guaranteed! Besides, they are still testing, in their own words. Who knows what the results of the test will be?

2. The government of Abia state is not actually owing them. Innoson admits that the government wanted to pay, but they asked them to hold on.

3. From 2 above, I deduce that they knew there could be issues like this along the line.

4. That been said, it is normal for production companies to shift completion dates. From Aircraft manufacturers like Boeing and Airbus to Plants like the dangote refinery. However, it it obvious that even Innoson was too optimistic on delivery timeline leading to this 'expectations postponed' from the law makers, which the good book tells.us makes the heart sick.
5. The Product Managers and Assembly line Managers of Innoson have questions to answer.
Dijita:
This is all ado about nothing. Lack of communication between the speaker, Innoson and the governor. This is something that should not be in the press at all.

I am rooting for you here Innoson

Thank you for the detailed answer
Kelklein:

There is no strict number attached to any prayer one can make..

In the Islamic faith, like in some other faiths, supplications (praising God, seeking His forgiveness, blessings requests) are doctrinally done in repetitition.. of numbers such as 100s, 1000s or any number you possibly can.

It has been the practice from the days of the old.. it is believed that repeated prayers keep the devotee more focused, more steadfast in faith and hence quickly answered by the Divine hosts.

You have said it all!
We miss that man.
SoNature:
I want Amaechi to remain relevant in politics. That man has big plans for this country. Amaechi is a strategic administrator. I want him to return to PDP and contest for Senate.

The only challenge is that he may find it difficult to win because he was foolishly fighting his people to please his bosses in APC. I hope his people have forgiven him.
Politics / Re: Rivers: Fubara Only Popular Because He’s Anti-wike Says Amaechi by bamasite2: 5:50am On Jun 10
The last paragraph of the article is misleading! For us, true Rivers people, Amaechi is popular because of his people oriented projects that positively impacted on the lives of Rivers people everywhere. Majority still hold the opinion that Amaechi is the best governor Rivers State had since return to democracy in 1999!
