.Majority of the housemates have watched and studied the show which makes them so consious of the cameras around them and don't want to act in a way that will make viewers judge them. That's is what making it boring..

actually i believe whats making this season boring is too much interference by the production department , by this time in other seasons, production would have adopted a more hands off approach. This is coupled with the fact that the camera crew actively avoids showing viewers negative content that might trend. Also i don't know how, but the housemates this season aren't oblivious of what is happening outside. And it shows
