Wow wow wow, this is encouraging!!! Please I want to announce to us all that most people prefer making pledges privately as this is a public forum. To this effect three people have sent in private messages pledging the following

Anonymous 1 = N30,000
Anonymous 2 = N10,000
Anonymous 3 = N10,000

I want to sincerely on behalf of the organizers, thank those that pledged and also use this opportunity to urge others who thought about this (private pledging) but never took any action, to send me private message in support of this noble cause.

Note that we are looking at, on or before the 15th of November to make funds available and with this trend the receiver's account information will be send privately to avoid exposing the person's account to the world but confirmation of every payment will be made public blotting out the sensitive information for transparency sake.

May the Soul of Maggilove continue to rest in peace. Amen

Good day to all members of Likers Paradise, hope we all are safe in our various locations? For me, we are like one big family that look after one another and I believe if we tow this part it will be beneficial to all of us in one way or the other.

Having said the above, I want us to know that three members here volunteered to put together something memorable for the bereaved family of late Maggilove who was part of this Likers Paradise family until her sudden death weeks ago.

Having considered all suggestions, we arrived at the following:-

* That a condolence purse of N100,000 be given to the family from a freewill donation from us in this forum

* Some members having busy schedule might not be disposed to make a physical condolence visit, but anyone or group of people willing to do so shall be taken care of from the donations we make here

* That VickyRotex will establish communication with the family on our behalf to inform them of our intentions once we have meaningful contribution towards the 100k proposed.

Having made this announcement, we are expected to start making pledges and also contribute in any way or anything we missed out and note that final donations will be sent to family via wire transfer, and update given with copy of the Alert/transfer slip.

Please we have till on or before the 15th of November to make and redeem our pledges accordingly.

We are all in this together, let's sacrifice for the wonderful memories of Maggilove. Thank you and God bless us all

Nice suggestions @ Abcthings and VickyRotex. I also join in stating that she was a good person with a kind heart.

But first I suggest we get in touch with her family, though we spoke on phone but I know very little about her except that she's married. I never even knew she was pregnant. Does anyone know is she had a child before this pregnancy?

If she had a child, is he/she of school age? If yes we can offer a term scholarship or grant her family some financial aid.

These days people in Nigeria prefer money to material things, I don't know if you guys understand what I mean?

A true caller scan on the phone number provided on her profile revealed her name , while a Facebook search on same revealed her identity.
Correlating it to her 2nd to last topic created on Nairaland, I hate to presume but I feel she is now in the hands of the Good Lord.
I hope am wrong so I can delete this post.

But the truth is someone bearing a name similar to hers died after giving birth some few days ago.

May the Almighty give the family and friends of the deceased the heart to bear this painful loss.

If truly our Maggilove was Margaret Abosede Okocha nee Akande she will be truly missed.

May she find comfort in the arms of the Most High

Good morning to us all

Please I want to use this opportunity to announce that our game show slated for today will be postponed until further notice. This is as a result of the none availability of my fellow coordinator (Maggilove). I just hope and pray that she's alright as her phone number has been switched off since Thursday and no response from her as regards all emails sent to her email address.

A new date for the game show will be announced later.

If anyone can help us reach Maggilove in anyway, please do as soon as possible. Thank you!!!
