We used to love Ghana before, not anymore as South Africans. Homophobes crying about Xenophobia.

I suspect you're gonna kick out SA businesses when you're done with the repatriations but there's always new and better markets for SA.

[url]SA will always thump you so please test our limits. Tell your noisy neighbors as well.

Iampeter said “When will Nigeria follow suite?
All this our audio senators and rep members, I really hope they are learning.”

That is not true.
And where have you been?
Nigeria was one of the first countries in Africa to sign a law banning LGTQ.

PoliticsPresident Bola Tinubu Should Not Be Re-elected by Baptish(op): 1:03pm On May 27
President Bola Tinubu should not be Re-elected
By Baptish

President Tinubu leadership has created hostile environments that make Nigerians unable to achieve their life long dreams. Critics, economists and citizens point to five key areas where Tinubu administration leadership has made it harder Nigerians to achieve their dreams.

Crippling inflation and Naira Devaluation.
The unification and floating of the Naira caused a severe depreciation of the currency—triggering hyperinflation in food, transportation and basic utilities. This eroded purchasing power, leaving citizens struggling to afford daily necessities rather investing in future goals.

Unfavorable climate for small business.
Entrepreneurs face an extremely hostile operational environment characterized by multiple taxation and high borrowing costs. The lack of targeted incentives and affordable credit make it incredible difficult for startups to survive, let alone scale.

Worsening insecurity.
Escalating violence, banditry, and kidnappings in key agriculture and commercial regions (such as the North- West and middle belt)) have disrupted livelihoods. This insecurity destroyed local chains and makes it difficult physically dangerous for Nigerians to pursue their commercial and career ambitions.

Inadequate cushioning measures.
The government simultaneous implementation of multiple, painful financial reforms without adequate social safety nets caused widespread poverty. Many citizens feel that action taken by the government lack relief—to help poor population to overcome economic difficulties.

Massive brain drain—call Japa syndrome: the combination of economic instability, the deteriorating living standards and lack of quality infrastructures has driven millions of skill young Nigerians to leave the country in search of better opportunities abroad. This wide spread loss of talents strips the nation of human capital and innovators.

Increase cost of Governance and Perception of Extravagance.
Nigerians have highlighted the contradiction between Tinubu government asking citizens to make a sacrifice while the government itself continues with spending. This includes reports of spending on luxury projects, new vehicles for government officials and renovating official residence—which many view as insensitive to the suffering of ordinary citizens.

Fellow Nigerians, have you heard the phrase “Japa syndrome”?
It is alive, active and ongoing!
Two weeks ago, I received a documentary suggesting that the number of Nigerians in foreign jails has exceeded 1 million. 99.9% of them are from South west and southeast part of Nigeria. Many of them left Nigeria after Bola Tinubu became president of Nigeria to escape poverty in Nigeria. They want to come home. Which government is going to bring them home? Not Tinubu Administration. So, let join together and vote Bola Tinubu out of power next year. Do you hear me?

PoliticsHow Atiku Abubakar Can Defeat Bola Tinubu In 2027 Presidential Election by Baptish(op): 9:30am On May 25
How Atiku Abubakar can Defeat Bola Tinubu in 2027 Presidential Election
By Baptish.

For Atiku Abubakar, selecting a female running mate can reshape his ticket by driving historic voter turnout among women, counterbalancing Muslim-Muslim ticket criticism, offered by APC, bosting his international credibility, and directly aligning with his party (ADC) push for gender inclusion action.
1. Taping into female electorate, women represent over half Nigeria population. Elevating a highly qualified female politician to vice presidential slot can galvanize grassroots coalition. This will shift focus from conversations regarding regional or religious calculation towards inclusive, gender-based empowerment.

2. Countering Muslim-Muslim ticket perception. Since Atiku Abububakar is a muslim, critics often accused him of lacking religious or regional balance. A highly visible, female running mate from the south would bridge both the gender and reginal divides—presenting a fresh, balance ticket that appeals to broader demographic

3. Advancing girl-child and women empowerment agenda, Atiku has historically champion girl-child education and affirmative action. It would allow him to roll out campaign policies—such as female representation in cabinet appointments and expand microfinance system targeted at women with greater authenticity.

4. Attracting the youth and progressive vote. Nigerian youth and urban people and villagers heavily favor equity, inclusion, and break from the status quo. A female vice-presidential candidate signals modernization, progressive---potentially winning over independence who are looking for fresh leadership rather recycled of old political formula.

5. Enhancing international and institutional credibility. Gender balance, inclusive ticket reflects the evolving democratic standard of the global political landscape. This would boost Atiku credibility with international observers, developmental institutions and foreign investors—projecting an image of forwarding thinking governance and national unity.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Moving In Right Direction — Sunday Dare by Baptish: 1:48am On May 11
“The Presidency has said that Nigeria is moving in the right direction, noting that President Bola Tinubu’s reforms are working.”

Pure lie!
Just look at this picture:
In 2013, $1 was #150
Today, $1 is 1500 Naira.
This depreciation combined with inflation reaching over 30%--which has eroded purchasing power of every Nigerian.

Nigeria moving in the right direction?
Thank God Nigeria is not a democratic nation because this clown called Tinubu would have been voted of office, ASAP!

PoliticsRe: Fubara Walks Out APC Screening by Baptish: 10:21pm On May 10
"The re-election bid of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, appeared to suffer a setback on Sunday after he stormed out of the All Progressives Congress (APC) screening hall in Abuja.

Rivers state governor Mr. Siminalayi Fubara came to power because of godson politics. Now, he is not feeling happy because the same godson politics that brought him to power is being used against him. By godson politics I mean a process of choosing someone by influential Figueres and installing him or her to political office. He should have shun it when he knew godson politics was used to make him governor in 2023. Today, he has no one to blame but himself.

So, I keep telling Nigerians not to celebrate Nigeria democracy because it is a fraud. Nothing is real in Nigeria. People only know there is democracy in Nigeria by announcing election date and publishing sham results. When people line up to cast votes, those votes tally are not used to decide winner or loser. The results are made up by corrupt election officials to create impression that Nigeria is a democratic country. No, Nigeria is not a democratic nation, period.
Please do not believe that stuff.
PoliticsRotimi Amaechi On Perception Of DEAD On Arrival By His Key Opponents. by Baptish(op): 11:57pm On May 08
Rotimi Amaechi On perception of DEAD On Arrival by his key Opponents.
By Baptish

Based on political analysis and recent reports, several factors suggest former minister of transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi entry into 2027 presidential election faces many hurdles. And here are a few of them;
First, let start from Mr. Amaechi home state of Rivers state. Amaechi influence in River’s state is under threat—with minister Nyesome wike telling people that Mr. Amaechi lacks ability to deliver his own polling unit {see Facebook—focus TV, Feb 12, 2026). Also, Nyesome wike has gone around telling people that Amaechi entry into the presidential race is dead on arrival (see Instagram, April 18, 2026: Amaechi, why I want to be Nigeria president).

Second, Rotimi Amaechi lacks grass roots infrastructures to mobilized voters’ turnout to deliver him necessary support to win him party nomination. Show me the money!

Third, intent competition in ADC nomination ticket. Amaechi influence in ADC is very little compared to Atiku Abubakar. The competition can create deep internal division within the party—crippling the party chances to beat APC candidate, President Tinubu.

Fourth, lack of recent official political position. What does Mr. Amaechi stand for? Since he never held pollical rally anywhere in Nigeria, no one knows his official position on issues Nigerians are concerned about today.

So, is Amaechi really serious about running for president or just a chance to make some noise?

PoliticsRe: NNPC Refineries Will Never Work Again – Obasanjo by Baptish: 6:01pm On Apr 27
"As the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited continues its search for technical partners to operate the Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna refineries, former President Olusegun Obasanjo has once again insisted that the facilities will never work."

Mr. Obasanjo is good at coming up with solutions about problems facing Nigerian, only after leaving office, not while in office.
I wonder who believes him.
phony solution!

Congo DR is a Terrible Team to Go to World Cup
By Baptish

Congo Dr 1, Jamica 0

When people say Nigeria has no national football team to represent Nigeria and win a respectful game for Nigeria, they are not lying.

I am watching Fifa world cup 2026 qualifying match between Congo DR and Jamica currently taking place live—in Mexico and I am shaking my head in disbelief.

Congo DR football team is a terrible football team to go to world cup
It has no defensive structures.

Players have no speech; they stay on the field not organized to support opposition break through. Congo Dr players have no strength to kick a football into the net. In fact, kids in elementary schools are stronger than players in Congo National team players

Given the quality of plays by Congo DR against Jamaica and have not scored, I feel ashamed to see that Nigeria lost to such a team---to disqualify for 2026 world cup in the USA.

Did Nigeria national football team really lose to Congo DR?
The 90 minutes has just ended, and it is a goalless draw, I am scratching my head to see how poorly Congo Dr is playing. Congo has now scored to advance. Amen!

If Nigeria has chosen a high school football team to play against Congo Dr during the world cup qualifying rounds, I think, Nigeria would have qualified for 2026 world cup games.

PoliticsNyesom Wike Is A Mad Man. by Baptish(op): 5:36pm On Feb 16
Nyesom Wike is a mad man.
By Baptish

Nyesom wike is a mad man. He is talking more than listening. When you work hard to earn a leadership position, your job is to provide answers to problems. Is that what Mr. wike is doing in Nigeria. No. This man is totally consumed by his massive ego. Ask wike which political party he belong to, he would not name one. One day, he is talking like APC a candidate on the campaign trail, and another day, he is in court fighting for right to lead PDP. He is everywhere. He walks around with this extreme anger on his chest.

In 2023 after losing PDP presidential ticket to Atiku Abubakar, Wike took to the podium in a news conference to brand southern governors as traitors. You remember that? Moment later that year, he was pushing for the election of candidate Tinubu over peter obi—his southern neighbor. How hypocritical is that? He never blamed himself. And as a result of Nyesom Wike unstable behavior, PDP, once the most respected political party in Nigeria is today an astray.

Today, most respected Nigerians have quit PDP because of their dislike for Nyesom Wike behavior. He wants to dominate others—almost on the path to telling people what to wear or demanding access to their bank account. A friend of mine in Abuja has told me that when wike comes to work, he often slams door upon entering his office. He asserts his anger through controlling people. What type of person is this?

This ego trap disease is following Mr wike to everywhere he goes. He is an irrational jealous and insecure person. His jealousy over the attention Rivers State governor Sir Seminalayi Fubara is getting has gotten into his skin—leading him to call and push for governor Fubara impeachment. Ask Mr. wike why he wants governor Fubara impeached, he has no answer, but ranting.

President Bola Tinubu appointed Mr. wike to be minister of Federal capital—Abuja, but he is not doing that job. Instead, he is in River’s state everyday trying to pick a fight with the rivers state governor, Fubara--- an area totally not related to his ministerial job. No wonder why Nigeria is in disarray. And Ask wike which political party he belongs; he will tell you PDP today and APC tomorrow. Nyesom wike is a mad man.
