Why has NATO countries shunned Donald Trump? Why are they angry with Trump for starting this war?

Iran doesn't own the Hormuz and by the virtue of the international rules and conventions, the Hormuz waterways is not an Iranian territory just the same way the US/Russia can't lay claims to the Bering strait. It's also for this same reason that Singapore and Turkey can not claim to own the malacca and Bosphorus straits respectively.
How choatic do you think it would be if countries like Gilbratar, Spain, Morocco, SA, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Russia and the US all start blockading all the natural waterways that pass through their countries saying they are doing so because they own them? How much do you think you would be paying for energy if all these countries go the Iranian way and start charging tolls? Make una dey use una head o, please.
